COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional English-style brown ale, but with more body. Its deep brown color comes from a combination of Chocolate and Black malts. Tall, dark and smooth – the perfect cure for the domestic beer blahs. 5.6% abv

Good not great but brown ales are not my favorite anyway. Dark brown in color small to medium off white head. Aroma is lite not much to say here.

10/8/13. 12oz bottle from a mix 12pk from Warehouse. Opened this and a Patriot Pale Ale and they were both gushers. Ugh. Original pour was about an inch of hazy amber beer with 5 inches of tan head, even after a careful pour. Eventually it settles and we have a smaller head that fizzes away fast. Lightly tart, dusty apple aroma, like fresh, warm apple cider, with a bit of cardboardy caramel. Mediocre flavor as well, apples and caramel with a dash of cardboard. This really reminds me of inexperienced extract homebrew.

Woody brown with a huge, light tan head. Nutty, chocolate aroma. Malty, creamy chocolate, caramel. Sweet, roasty.... Not bad.

Draft->shaker. Medium brown with foamy offwhite head. Malt, wet hay, grains, cereal. Messy and too sweet.

Pours almost a ruby red when held to light. Took me 5 minutes just to get it poured, lots of fluffy head. Smells of nut, caramel, and malt, the malt being the strongest. Tastes sweet, with caramel and dark chocolate with a roasty finish on it. Not very dense, pretty smooth actually. Not bad but nothing stands out to make it fantastic either. Not bad overall though for my first RJ Rocker brew.

Pours a medium-dark shade of brown with a nice thick foamy head that sticks around. Aroma is sweet...smells like crystal malt, rather than chocolate or brown. Not that that’s a bad thing. Flavor is sweet. Not much depth. Just a little bite on the tongue of hops. Very smooth and drinkable.

From bottle. Musky grain, damp aroma. Raw, like a homebrew. A little funky with roasted barley. Carbonic gaseousness. Root beer brown clear with huge rocky-foamy tan lacing head. Medium body with vigorous carbonation (over carbed). Medium malt sweetness with caramel and biscuit. Big carbonic tang and fizzy burn. Neutral brown ale flavor with light tang in the finish and nutty smooth after.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours clear, dark brown; huge head and lots of lacing. Roasted malts, nuts, some caramel and some chocolate. Taste is also sweet, smokey some chocolate there too. Nice roasty bitter finish. OK beer.
