2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 jonas (5041) - Garching b. München, - NOV 7, 2012Bottle. Christmas spices and nuts in the aroma. Cloudy orange amber, low golden head. Mellow mouthfeel, medium body. Slightly sticky, spices are a bit cloying at first, light fruit, a bit mealy. Not my cup of tea.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mikemccarthy (87) - Huntington, West Virginia, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Pours a light, translucent amber with a thick, white head that stays. Light aroma with little of note. Slightly effervescent mouthfeel. Mild, only slightly bitter flavor (especially light considering the claimed American Pale Ale style), with heavy spice notes. A rather odd combination.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bubbleflubber (1423) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Pours a lightly-hazed tea hue into the glass, with a small soapy head that leaves light lacing. The nose is spiced, almost a bit perfumed... somewhat cloying. Flavors are drier, pie-spiced, a bit of sours intermingling. Light and somewhat thin on the palate. Meh, not the best representation of the style.

Perhaps one my new favorites. Had it on recommendation at an English style pub with a reuben (best sandwich ever, btw), and I fell in love. If I ever have a few extra bucks for beer during the winter season down south, I’ll be buying this beer.

Oh no, no chilled mug! Bottle. Touch of nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread cookies, pours hazy orange with a creamy beige head. Taste nothing but spices and watery malt, the finish/aftertaste is however pleasantly of dark bread crusts before the pumpkin connotations come rushing back in.

Bottle-poured a hazy, amber color with a small head. Aroma was spicey with some malt. To me, the aroma and taste was much more to a pumpkin ale as opposed to winter beer. Nice try, didn’t work. Bruisin Ales.

Draught->shaker. Cloudy copper with decent head. Aroma is malt, spices, touch of pumpkin. Taste is more pumpkin over spices, unbalanced.

Has a spiced apple note and a clear amber color. A hint of pumpkin flavor, with a smokey finish

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a moderately thin head. Nose is a bit spicy with those winter spices. Spices really come through in the taste, too. Easy to drink, just seems like a run-of-the-mill winter ale.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 GranvilleTim (1206) - Granville, Illinois, USA - NOV 20, 2012
Orange-yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is nutmeg and ginger. Taste is a nice balance of ginger and nutmeg with the malt. Nice lacing. A nice first beer to try from this company.
