Bottle… Hazy, amber ale with a small, flimsy, white head. The aroma is all about gingerbread. Medium-bodied with prickly carbonation. Leans a touch on the sweet side of balance. Subtle, spicy flavor of ginger and praline. Lightly acidic. Short, crisp, clean finish. Bottle courtesy of growler!

Drake (7950) - Free Union, Virginia, USA - FEB 1, 2009
12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours an amber color with a medium head. Poor head retention and lacing. Very slight haze. Spices are dominant in the aroma, mainly your nutmegish pumpkin spices. Seems like there is actual pumpkin, even though the commercial description doesn’t say so. Taste is spice... lighter than the aroma... and some vegetal hops. Medium bodied.

Has an average thickness body with finely dissolved carbonation and light caramel sweetness with a good spice balance. A pretty decent spiced beer.
