NachlamSie (1344), Tennessee, USA Oct 28, 2007 Draught at Terry’s. This is an excellent name for a beer. Damned fish, that’s what they get. This has a tart, sour nose with wheaty, spiced notes. I had no idea what style this was as the name is not very indicative of that. I was going with Belgian wit, though the beer is only semi-cloudy at best. The flavor was more enjoyable with respectable depth. It is gritty and grainy with sourdough and citrus throughout. The finish is moderately dry with more subtle spiced notes. This was easily drinkable with my rip-off pizza as well. I was not expecting much from R.J. Rockers on a style like this, but it’s nice enough. 00cobraR (941), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA Sep 27, 2007 What a name. Who in the hell thought of this one and what is the relavance? This is your tyipical americanized belgian ale. Nothing speical and certainly not a bad brew. Suttree (2283), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Sep 24, 2007 I love the name, but when I think about it, I’m 100% sure I know what it means, or how it pretains to Belgian Ales, or even beer in general. But, still, cool name. Golden orange, thin head. Fruity, yeasty aroma. First sip is a mildy toasty malt, followed by a nice floral hop finish. Sampled at 2007 Asheville Brewgrass. apost8n8 (123), Oklahoma, USA Dec 13, 2004 Light Amber color, no head, watery with a strong hoppy flavor and VERY strong berry finish. Interesting but not an everyday beer.
