Malty aroma. Taste is roasted malts, well balanced, good co2. Good tasting stout, a little on the thin side or watery for this style. Overall decent, nice bite up front for this brew.

Pint on tap. Opaque with a lasting disc of creamy foam. Mild nose of cocoa, coffee and graham cracker. Flavors of cocoa, caramel, dark toast and a touch of green herb. Near-medium body has a nice balance, a smooth medium carbonation and a slight wateriness that all combine to make a nice session stout.

Pours black with no head from the bottle. Aroma is an overpowering coffee and alcohol. Extreme carbonation in the mouth with notes licorice, dark chocolate and alcohol. This is a very weak attempt at a stout. It just does not taste good.

About as average as they come in terms of stout. Nothing terribly wrong here other than being a bit thin but nothing stands out either. Opaque pour w/ a quickly fading tan head that leaves spotty lacing. The aroma has some nice chocolate notes that are a tad underwhelming. The taste is similar as the chocolate notes are there & some roasted notes are in the finish but there just isn’t enough to make this great. It easily drinkable at 6.5% however!

Nice dark colour and not a lot of smell coming from this. Good clean smokey taste not to bitter after taste.
