2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from the bottle into a tall, narrow glass to drink. The beer had a clear amber-orange color with low bubbles and a big foamy white head with modest retention and lacing and below average cling. Its aroma featured spices, nutmeg, and brown sugar, along with notes of pumpkin and cinnamon, and some touches of earthy and grainy hops. The beer had a malty pumpkin flavor with some earthy and grainy notes, along with spices and touches of nutmeg and sugar. It had a lighter, thinner mouthfeel with low carbonation and average wetness, and overall was muted and underdeveloped.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden in the glass with a nearly white head. Fruity-spicy in the nose, hints of peach and - of course - pumpkin. The beer starts smooth, fruity. Malty and not too sweet body. The mainpart is malty, a bit yeasty, nice subtle pumpkin-aroma with smooth sweetness. The aftertaste in smooth, pumpkin and slightly sweetness.
Nice brew, but could be much more spic and pumpkin in it! --> 10/12/10/19

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very much just a pumpkin ale, as opposed to a pumpkin *pie* ale. Fruity pumpkin with a somewhat bitter (hop?) finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Heady pour, cloudy orange, few yeast chunks. Frothy lace. Nice aroma, pretty fruity, kind of estery, kinda belgiany in a overcarbed fruity estery way. Taste is belgiany,fruity,semi-rich,overcarbed,fairly tastey. For a pumpkin ale, I like it more than average.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very nice mouthfeel, bubbly and light. Slightly sour, which I liked, this would go well with an oily meal. The aroma was ordinary for a pumpkin ale, nothing really stood out. For the style, this was over wet hopped, the bitterness overrode the sweet pumpkin esters and flavors to a certain degree. Not much pumpkin spice. There was a light, but still off putting flavor of metal or aluminum foil on the end; that kind of ruined this beer. If this was not a pumpkin ale and the metal flavor was removed, it would probably be very good, but for the style, it is sub par. After airing out for about 20-30 minutes, it develops a custard flavor, making it a little better.
