Hop Quake is a 6.5% IPA measuring in at 63 IBUs brewed with Warrior, Cascade, Centennial and Columbus hops. Not too hoppy and not too heavy, it should be a good sipper for the increasingly warm South Carolina December.

Pours a pretty murky copper color with floaties permeating throughout. Weak aromas of piney hops, mostly yeast. Flavor is mostly tame, with some earthy hops beating around. Easy as hell to drink, but nothing really sticking out to me.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Bruisin’ Ales, after midnight on NYE, so technically 1/1/15, We’ll definitely call this my FIRST TICK of 2015!!!

Aroma: Decent aroma which has some earth hops, bread, spice, and a little orange
Appearance: The color is murky orange, with absolutely no head and some light, drippy lace
Flavor: Flavor-wise, I got some decent, though lighter, bitterness, along with a mild sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, fairly clean, a little sticky, a little dry, and a little off
Overall Impression: This one is not the greatest. It isn’t a bad beer, but it isn’t a good one either. I could probably have rang in the new (rating) year better. Anyway, happy new year to all! May it be as ticktastic as you want it to be...

Beer of month club. Pours hazy orange/copper with no head. Nose of pine / citrus - somewhat understated. Tate of grapefruit and mild bitterness. Very drinkable/pleasant IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

crazyvin (2009) - New York, USA - NOV 16, 2014
A medium amber body with a white head that had some retention and nice lace. Aroma had some caramel malts upfront and a bit of corn. Hops had a nice blend of mostly grapefruit and pine. There was a mild floral note. Flavor was all hops. Grapefruit hops dominated but did not over power. Dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the Greenville beer festival, this pours caramel into the glass with a sudsy head that leaves spotty lacing. The oatmeal makes for a nice nose and grainy flavor, some malt present, finishing with a complex bitterness. Full-bodied and active on the palate, this IPA has some sweetness and interesting oatmeal–esque characteristics I have not found in other brews. One of the most interesting IPAs I've tried.

Pint on tap. Lightly hazy orange-copper with a thin film of bubbles. Mild nose of orange caramel and spicy toast. Tastes of toasted nut, resin, citrus zest, toffee apple and dirty popcorn. Near-medium body finishes bitter and is a bit too fizzy.

A favorite from this brewery. This beer is lively with a hoppy finish. It has a beautiful appearance in the glass!
