COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
People just love RJ Rockers’ Son of a Peach, a seasonal wheat beer made with real peaches that appeals to damned near every kind of beer drinker. Impeachment doubles down on Son of a Peach, with a massive ABV and as much punch as peaches can pack.

Formerly known as Impeachment.

Draft sampler at District Pi in DC. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with small white head. Overwhelming peaches and booze. Like a chewy, syrupy, bready peach schnapps. Not good at all.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2014 Original rating was On tap at the 2012 Brewgrass Beer Festival in Asheville, NC, when the working title was "imPeachment". Now that the recipe is slightly different and is mass-produced, I will amend my rating. This Pours a hazy deep orange into the glass, with a wispy head that fully diminishes, leaving trace lacing. The nose is of fresh peaches. Flavors are extremely peachy, with a creamy essence proved by the soft carbonation texture. A peach candy flavor finishes the pull, along with a touch of well-hidden alcohol warmth. The body is medium, the mouthfeel oily, with a light liveliness to the palate provided by semi-soft carbonation and the alcoholic kiss at the end of the pull. If you’re in the mood for a sweet aperitif, your palate may not want to like it, but your sweet tooth will make you grin sipping it. A guilty pleasure, for sure.

Did our own beer tasting at our favorite craft brew place, and out of about 10 good beers, this one won out. Great beer.

On tap. Lightly hazy with a lasting creamy head. Aroma is fresh peach and white wine. Flavors are white wine with some peach and light citrus and funk. Light-medium body shows a bit of the abv, finishes dry and has medium carbonation.

Draught. Pours a rather cloudy light amber color with a moderate white head. Nose and taste are both extremely peachy. However, the taste actually ends up being almost muddy to me, like something has been mixed in. Not a fan for that reason.
