COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
People just love RJ Rockers’ Son of a Peach, a seasonal wheat beer made with real peaches that appeals to damned near every kind of beer drinker. Impeachment doubles down on Son of a Peach, with a massive ABV and as much punch as peaches can pack.

Formerly known as Impeachment.

Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #100. Draft at Brewvival. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin foamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of oats, peaches. The taste is peaches, stone fruit, vanilla, mild booze. Medium bodied, sweet overall.

Tap at Iron Horse tap room. Pours a full haze peach. Reverse cascade head. Nose is fruitier peach cobbler with uncanny buttery pie crust. Taste follows. Sticky, artificial, mild plastic and medicinal character. Fake apricot, mint, chalky, diet soda. My friends loved it. Palate is a huge weak point. Medicinal and off putting.

12 ounce bottle - $2.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Bottled on: 05/29/2014

Appearance: Pours an amber-golden body strewn with some fine particulates and capped with nearly an inch of off-white foam.

Smell: Displays a bready, moderately sweet-scented aroma drenched in nostril prickling alcohol, giving an ill sign of things to come.

Taste: Bready, honey-glazed maltiness with a full-on fruity dose of peach puree, a couple drops of vanilla, and a big pop of low-grade schnapps which easily borders on a stinging, medicinal quality which mercifully drags out into the aftertaste and settles into a belly-warming tincture.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Minor stickiness present.

Overall: With a sneer, R.J. Rockers asked of Son of a Peach, "who’s your daddy?" Apparently, it’s this boozy deadbeat asshole.

On tap. Lightly hazy with a lasting creamy head. Aroma is fresh peach and white wine. Flavors are white wine with some peach and light citrus and funk. Light-medium body shows a bit of the abv, finishes dry and has medium carbonation.

Draught. Pours a rather cloudy light amber color with a moderate white head. Nose and taste are both extremely peachy. However, the taste actually ends up being almost muddy to me, like something has been mixed in. Not a fan for that reason.
