12 oz bottle courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours amber/gold with a slight haze and a one finger white head. Spotty lace. Aroma is mild pale malt and mild hops. Flavor is more malty than hoppy. Medium palate with a mildly bitter finish. It was ok, nothing to get to excited about.

Poured on draft. Cloudy orange look. Nice hop bite that has good bitterness and a grapefruit note. Finishes sweet. It’s like a baby IPA. Excellent beer.

Pour a transparent, light amber with visible carbonation and a thick, white head. Moderate lacing. Very subtle but inviting aroma with little of note. Lightly effervescent mouthfeel. Strongly hoppy and bitter taste -- surprising, given the lack of floral aroma. Bitter finish. Not bad, but not particularly notable for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for the Daystrom M-5

On tap at the Stag’s Head, Manhattan, NY on 5th July 2013. Gold, slightly hazy. Delicate hoppiness, smoke and berries in aroma. The taste in-mouth is very well balanced: hoppy bitterness, citrus and malts present along with zesty orange peel. Citrus hoppiness surround a bitter core in a finish that becomes increasingly bitter. Lightly zingy mouthfeel. Excellent beer.

12 oz. bottle from queenholly. Hazy amber color with a thin ring of white head. The aroma displays pine hops and light caramel malt sweetness. Citrus notes. The balance of malt and hops is perfect for the style. The bitterness is abrupt with the hops giving a slightly dry texture. Medium-bodied with good flavor. I was shocked after taking notes on this then seeing the ratings. Are raters getting old bottles or did the quality change at some point?? Anyhow, I enjoyed this APA; highly drinkable to my palate. I would order this on draft without hesitation. Or don’t drink and rate old bottles….

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of pale and light caramel malts plus a nice floral, almost citrusy hoppiness. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad pale ale

Draft at Rattle and Hum. Straight forward APA. Stone fruits, citrus, herbal, grassy. Bitter finish. Sessionable.

Good solid Pale Ale. Pours a nice cloudy light colored yellow with a light white head that foams up quickly but doesn’t last. Flavor is hops and grass.

Pours a nice clear amber with a typical white head. Strong, fruity aroma has a bit of a yeasty overtone. Malty aroma has firm fruity and woody hop notes, a bit bitter but not fiercely so, enough so you know it is well-hopped, and just a whisper of honey sweetness. Smooth texture has about average fizz and viscosity, and leaves a malty and somewhat honey-sweet finish. Get your Patriot on!
