Piney hops with some caramel and citrus on the aroma. Fairly darkened copper/amber color. Subtle bitterness with a moderately strong caramel, biscuit malt backbone. Overall, a fairly subtle and basic IPA. Can’t really believe its 90 ibu’s. Its a decent IPA. I’d give this a C+ rating.

Bomber from Capone’s. Pours chill hazy deep coppery orangy with 2-finger off-white head that laces well. Nose is black peppery and mangoey, with fruity hops. Tastes fruity, hoppy, with notes of pine, mango, pepper, and orange marmalade, although the flavor profile is not sweet, but more of a peppery fruitiness with some finishing florals and tannins. This one is solid.

22oz bottle. Weird HappyFeet label. Rusty copper color, white white head. Aroma of citrus hops and musty, caramel malts. Tastes of caramel malts, cellared flavor. Bitter hops in the finish, coating the palate. Loads of citrus rind/grapefruit bitterness. (3439)

Whole orange, apricot, and rosehip nose, strong. Hazy copper, thin yellow head, decent lacing. Flavor is decidedly less fruity, but still good. Orange and tea hop notes, roasted malt is prominent. Aspirin overtones throughout. Resinous bitter orange peel finish. When quaffed, the biting bitterness isn’t as noticeable.

Tap. Pours hazy, dark amber with average, creamy off-white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is floral hops, bread and cookie malt, raisins, cherries, and light caramel. Flavor is balanced sweet malt and hops (light bitterness) with dark fruit undertones; dry, faintly hoppy finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.
