COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An unfiltered American wheat ale made with real mean peaches. The only thing missing is the fuzz. Savor the anger.

A: The beer pours a hazy golden color with a finger of white head. S: Definitely smells like a peach beer. Intense peach aroma that is a bit artificial and sugary, but good nonetheless. Iím actually reminded of Peach Oís/Rings. Sort of a guilty pleasure thing. T: Though I really liked the aroma, the flavor is really unimpressive. Itís far too bitter for a fruit beer without enough peach flavor. A bit of bread and straw, and shockingly, not enough sugar/sweetness. M: Light bodied with a medium carbonation. O: This smelled really great, but the flavor was not very good.

On draft at the Old Eagle Tavern in Philadelphia. I expected this to be kind of a "gateway beer" but itís much more substantial than that. The weizen component of the brew stands up well, with the kind of good body and a decent head that you want in a German-style wheat beer. And the peach dimension is also strong and flavorful. Too often fruit-lavored wheat beers are just too thin and insubstantial in both of their two components, and this oneís a nice change from that. Itís the first Iíve seen of this brewery in our area and Iíd definitely order it again. Thanks to Erin For bringing this keg to The Old Eagle.

[Bottle] Pours a milky looking light orange color with an inviting pillow of foam head. Distinct aroma of peach, residual sugars and a few hints of yeast. Sweet peach and light fruit dominate the taste. Mild sourness and hints of grainy malt linger throughout. For the most part, this had a pleasant and genuine peach taste. Creamy mouthfeel and decent body. Pretty good stuff. A little on the sweet side to drink more than one though.

Bottle. Pours peach with white head. Nose is fresh peaches, banana and peach pits. Taste falls short - mostly peach tea with some banana in the finish. Quick finish. Light body.

12 oz. bottle from Root Cellar. Got a six pack for my sisters-in-law and grabbed one out for myself when they all didnít go for seconds. Pours a somewhat cloudy amber-orange color with a little white head. Aroma shows a good bit of fresh peach character, with some underlying wheat and sweet malts. Flavor doesnít present as much or as fresh-seeming peach, and fills it out with sweet malts, grass, and wheat. Quick finish. Light-bodied, with a fruity, malty mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Actually not bad for a peach beer, and those normally donít do it for me.

Very nice peach aroma at first pour.Poured the yeast so had haze and floaties was going to back off but too late, not shure if its desired to have the sediment in this one but i have no disapointing flavors, just gave a worse appearance. Tons of floaties, i almost recall a chunk fell in at the end, pale orange goldish color some head ring of foam throughout. Aroma is peaches and vanilla cream sweet candied like pretty nice in the aroma dept. Taste is smooth slick soft peach with a bit of sharp citrus rind bitterness.Prettty good tasting for my first peach, not turned off by a fake flavor.Pretty genuinely good peach wheat if thats your thing. Pretty nice flavor almost a peaches and cream. Not bad.Worth trying. Im kinda inspired to make a peach wheat, so i may have to put off a pumpkin ale another week,if i can find some fresh peaches.

The aroma is sweet and fruity with artificial peaches, vanilla ice cream, and a hint of yeasty bread. The appearance is orange gold with tons of floating debris. The taste is sweet and harsh with an astringent bitterness. The palate is fizzy from carbonation. Overall a fun beer but not a good beer.

Bottle. Strong peach aroma - but very accurate to a real peach... no extra sweetness. Amber with no head, lots of floating particulate. Taste is only a little sweet but more of the peach is released. Finish is good - no nasty flavors linger, like in some fruit beers. No chemical aroma / taste ... another plus. Recommend if you are up for peach --- no half way with this one. I enjoyed, but would take in small doses.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours cloudy orange with floating yeast particules and small white head that dissapates quickly. Little lacing, medium body, peach aroma, and low carbonation. Taste is grainy wheat and off sour peach. Below average, wonít be seeking this out in the future.
