2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Blindfolded, clothes pin on your nose, and sick, you could still tell this is a wheat peach ale, emphasis on the peach. Pours a slightly cloudy gold, 1 finger head that is just off-white. Aroma - hello peach - lots of peach, after sitting for a bit, there is a hint of noble hops and wheat. Taste - peach still apparent, but the wheat malt and yeast are providing more character. Finish is malt and flesh of the peach. Nice enough, but not particularly amazing.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle served in a pint glass (from 8/2011 notes)..
A - a cloudy light orange with visible particles in suspension and settling on the bottom. Looks thick. Has an off-white head with limited retention.
Aroma: Peach pie! Really strong impression of peach pie nearly hides some subtle notes of baked bread and light toasted grain. Smells very sweet.
T - Some sweetness in the taste, but a bit more tartness and some bitterness. Peach flavor remains, but becomes more like a liquor and less like a pie compared to the aroma. A tart wheat ale taste finally emerges in the finish and aftertaste, accompanied by canned peaches.
M: medium-to-full bodied; good carbonation level. Despite a near syrupy feel, there’s some dryness on the finish.
O - a very peachy ale: a good candidate for the official state beer of SC.

Bottle. Great label and name! Hazy light orange. Peach, vanilla, pie crust-- smells like a dessert! Much less sweetness on the palate, nice natural peach character. Surprisingly good.

Draft. Copper with small white head. Aroma of artificial peaches and sweetness. Light body with syrupy peach flavor and a hint of wheat. Overly sweet for my tastes.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
@ Jungle Jims / Eastgate OH --- slightly hazy orange amber with peach-colored sediment floaters, thin head cover, dots of lace. The taste surprised me: wheat and malt enter first, followed by tart fresh peach that is far better than it sounds. A bit of bittering finishes things off. This is a unique beer, worth searching for.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy orange pour with a medium sized off-white head. Arome is of peaches with a bit of sugar. Medium bodied, good carbonation. Flavor has more of the peaches and they are distinct and natural. Wheat is evident throughout the flavor profile and lingers in to the finish. If you like peaches, this is pretty smooth and refreshing. I’m in GA, so...

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium brownish orange with a huge (3-4 finger) off white rocky head that lasted throughout, thus producing thick sheets of foamy sticky lacing.
The aroma was all about the peaches along with a mild biscuit malt and a sweet moldy yeast and not much else.
The taste was moderately sweet an a tad acidic with a strong wheat presence in the beginning, progressing with a slight bitterness along with a mild tartness and a bold peach flavor towards the finish. The flavor lasted and average duration proceeding the swallow, with a light bitter peach aftertaste that faded slowly off the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was a few steps below medium in body with a thin dry texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall I thought this was an average tasting brew, with a lot of peach flavor and a touch of wheat. I think it would make a good dessert beer, and would pair very well with some cobbler… www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews
