Tap at Jack Rose. Gracefully exchanged for the undrinkable Flying Dog Gose made with Old Bay. Pouts cloudy deep orange. Medium creamy foam. Nose is sweeter peach cobbler. Peaches and cream ice cream. Yum. Taste is a bit artificial, sweeter, doughy, thicker. Salty and buoyant with mild hop balance. Some butter and paper in the finish. Mediocre stuff, though drinkable unlike Flying Dog Gose. 9/7/2012 7/4/5/3/12=3.1

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from 12 ounce bottle purchased from the Piggly Wiggly next to Growler’s in Hilton Head Island, SC and tasted on July 12, 2012. Very cloudy orange/yellow hue, good firm peach aroma, very small white head, mostly bitter flavor with most of the peach sensation akin to licking the fuzz on a fresh peach. I might be missing something so I’m grading it leniently, since it doesn’t seem badly made.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a regrigerated bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a hazy orange with a white head of steadfast foam. The aroma is fairly uneventful with a hint of peach thrown in. It isn’t that prevalent at all. The taste reminds me of a peach flavored tea at first, until the wheat taste kicks in, anyhow. It’s really a sweet beer. Some bready notes come through in the finish and stay for awhile. Overall, not bad.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle from 1st local haul. Love the name of the bottle...makes me think of "How I met your mother". Very hazy pale orange with a nice slightly off white head. Lots of peach (sorta reminds me of the fuzzy sour candy) with an equally huge dose of apricot and eventually a bit of wheat. High carbonation, mild body, acidic, lots of apricot, becomes dry with a hint of sourness. Interesting.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a very hazy dark orange with some chunks floating around. Half finger head that quickly disappears.
The smell is actually pretty nice. Tons of peach with some bubblegum and banana.
Everything seems to go wrong on the taste. Some artificial tasting peach at first quickly followed by bubble gum and an band aid flavor. Wonder if this is infected? A mild hop bitterness cleans the palate on the finish.
Overall, I wasn’t impressed. The odd medicinal flavor through me off. But even that aside, nothing seemed to meld together and the flavors were all over the place. Not a good effort.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from total wine sterling. Pours apricot with a ton of white foam that though highly carbonated doesn’t leave a lot of lacing. Definite peach notes on the nose. A get a hint of the peach on the tongue but it fades quickly leaving a rather thin mouthfeel and watery finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Pour is hazy orange with a thin head.
aroma is peach of course. some orange peel marmalade, light malted wheat if you try hard.
Flavour is american wheat ale on the front, light earthy bitterness, peach comes across as slightly tart under ripe fruit, then lightly candied sweetness through to sourish wheat in the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
(draft @ 101 Bottles - Kent, OH) Very hazy orange pour with a thick white head. Candy and peaches mixed with a bitter wheat base at the start of the aroma. Flavor starts off a bit bitter and acidic, but as it warms, the peach flavors develop more and move almost to a slight creamsicle flavor with a light fruity aftertaste. Very refreshing.
