On draft at the Old Eagle Tavern in Philadelphia. I expected this to be kind of a "gateway beer" but itís much more substantial than that. The weizen component of the brew stands up well, with the kind of good body and a decent head that you want in a German-style wheat beer. And the peach dimension is also strong and flavorful. Too often fruit-lavored wheat beers are just too thin and insubstantial in both of their two components, and this oneís a nice change from that. Itís the first Iíve seen of this brewery in our area and Iíd definitely order it again. Thanks to Erin For bringing this keg to The Old Eagle.

Iím not much for fruity beers but this literally tasted like you are biting into a fresh peach. Not too sweet and still maintains wheat beer characteristics.

Poured a clody hazy orange. Very little citrus aroma. Tastes of citrus peaches. Too much carbonation for me.

btl. Pretty good fruit beer. Aroma is somewhat typical of an unfiltered wheat with a background of peach flavoring typical of peach flavored candy. But the taste actually comes through with, what is this?- Real peaches! If you are a peach fan and want a good, not overly sweet (finishes dry) summer brew, pick up a sixer, even if it is a $10 sixer of fruit-wheat beer, it actually seems worth it.

When you grow up in the South you learn to love peaches. This one pours a hazy light golden orange with minimal head and decent ringlets of lacing. Big peach aroma right away and dominant, brown sugar, wet wheat, peach syrup. Taste is Peach dominant also, which is fine with me, this is like Georgia or South Carolina in a bottle!, light earthiness with the wee bit of hops, sweet, tasty, Southern. Loved it. Been wanting to try this one and it didnít disappoint.

From notes: They should call this beer "Extract of a Peach." Iíve never really been a big fan of RJ Rockers beers, and this is a prime example. The appearance is a bit darker than a normal wheat beer. The smell is of peaches. The taste is what is going to throw you to the ground -- really artificial. I donít know how much extract is added to this puppy, but they went overboard. The mouthfeel is light and not really well carbonated.
Overall, this is an average to below average wheat beer that is slammed with extract. Itís one of the reasons many beer drinkers are not big fans of fruit beers.

An excellent peach flavor that comes in on the end coupled with a crappy wheat beer. Better from the tap than the bottle. Nice beer really cold on a hot summer day!

Pours a cloudy wheat color with tons of peach smell. Not much in the lacing dept. The taste is a lot like hard candy peach. Very sweet. Not much else to tell. Itís carbonated. Overall, this beer is all about the artificial peach additive.
