COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An unfiltered American wheat ale made with real mean peaches. The only thing missing is the fuzz. Savor the anger.

A: The beer pours a hazy golden color with a finger of white head. S: Definitely smells like a peach beer. Intense peach aroma that is a bit artificial and sugary, but good nonetheless. I’m actually reminded of Peach O’s/Rings. Sort of a guilty pleasure thing. T: Though I really liked the aroma, the flavor is really unimpressive. It’s far too bitter for a fruit beer without enough peach flavor. A bit of bread and straw, and shockingly, not enough sugar/sweetness. M: Light bodied with a medium carbonation. O: This smelled really great, but the flavor was not very good.

Pours a bubbly orange with thick white head, decent lacing. Aroma smacks you in the face with peach, which absolutely dominates and makes finding much else very difficult. It’s there, but you are only going to drink this for the peach really.

9th rating, 12oz. Pours orange with a bright white ring. Nose is sweet and peachy and pretty nice overall. Taste is sweet, like peach bubblegum, maybe a bit of diacetyl like OSLO mentiond but this beer is so muddled its hard to tell where the peach begins and a possible infection might end.

Bottle. Poured a darker orange color. No head to speak of, some sediment was present in the glass. Aroma was strong peaches. Flavor was strong peach and wheat aftertaste. Different beer. Good idea, but too strong of peaches.

Hazy orange coloured body with a copper glow and a very thin, fast-dying head. Aroma of strong aromatic peaches, a lot of caster sugar, oranges, a touch of malt and some offputting spices at the end. Medium-bodied; Assertive fresh peaches at first with some malt and sugars following behind. Aftertaste shows some chocolate and perhaps nutty bitterness coming right after the main sweet and fruity flavours - odd indeed. Overall, a good beer in the nose, but the execution isn’t flawless and it has an overwhelming chocolate and malt character that doesn’t show well to me, especially in this category. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 15-April-2010, sampled at home in Washington on 06-May-2010.

Cloudy apricot brown with a tiny white head. Scent is vanilla, peaches. Taste is sweet peaches and vanilla, just a bit tart. Not my idea of a beer.

Poured into a weizen glass. 4.0 A: Hazy light orange color. Creamy base, frothy topped head has good retention and leaves lots of lacing. 4.0 S: Oh boy are the peaches forthright. The only issue is that it seems very artificial, like the peach ring gummy candy instead of real peaches. Still highly enjoyable (those gummies are awesome). Too a much less extent, there is the wheat base. 3.0 T: Nothing special here. The peach that was so apparent in the nose barely shows up in the taste. The wheat, however, comes through just fine. With some refinement, this could be a very good and unique beer, but right now it’s just okay. 3.5 M: Medium body. The body’s a bit thicker than the style would like and the carbonation is a bit low. 3.5 D: I imagine this would be good on a hot day, but some others would be better. Poured a hazy orange/honey color with a good amount of sediment floating around. Thin white head. Strong aroma of sweet peaches. Taste is mostly of peaches as well. There are some bitter hops in the finish which combine weirdly with the peach flavors. Dry in the finish as well. Overall pretty flavorful, but it’s more of a peach smoothie than a beer.
