1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 beerbuzzmontreal (3490) - Montreal, Quebec, - MAR 30, 2006Pours a clear straw color with a medium diminishing white head. Aroma of grainy malt with honey sweetness. The flavor has a boring mix of malt and sweetness. The palate is light and oily with moderate carbonation. Boring.

A nice clean crisp and flavourful larger. This one was quite refreshing, enjoyable.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 lesifflebiere (537) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 3, 2013
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Spab (1688) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2012
On tap at La Distillery (Montreal). Pours a clear yellow gold with average-sized white head. Weak grainy aroma and flavour. Lightish body. Meh.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 envika (1) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 14, 2012 does not count
Haven’t drunk this beer a single time since I got a job, which will probably tell you more about what you’re in for than any description of the actual flavour, which is malty, not super-bitter, maybe a little corny, but completely forgettable. You are making a grave mistake if you bother pouring this one into a glass--this is meant to be swilled straight from the bottle, and quickly. Besides, the complete lack of head makes it look like hell. Makes me a little nostalgic, though; I’ll give it that.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 robinvboyer (2590) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 8, 2012
On tap at le saint bock as ecole buissonniere.
Pale yellow pour, no head. Aromaof cheap cereals, corn and zero hops. Watery mouthfeel, low carb. Finish is cooked veggies, and cardboard with wet grass. Awful.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 jaskesp (37) - - JUN 28, 2012
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 solidfunk (1918) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2012
Tastes aight for a lager. Shit, better than our typical big biz Canadian trash. Some grain taste up in this muthafuka. Big boo-tay.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Metalchopz (1784) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - APR 4, 2012
Originally rated May 2005. This is another lager that is easy to get around here, and that I buy from time to time. It pours a golden colour with underpar carbonation. The head doesn’t stay long, and the lacing is minimal. It smells bitter and slightly malty. The taste is a bit bitter with a smooth cereal finish. Decent lager, but prefer the Sleeman Silver Creek lager (reviewed also tonight).
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 worldbeertaste (1133) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2012
Clear orange colour with a thin white head. Smells of vegetation and corn with some hay. Thin light body with heavy carbonation. Taste of grass, malt and hops with no aftertaste. Light taste of hay. Felt a bit like cereal.
