COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tremblay is a pale lager made from an all-malt grist. The golden color, subtle bouquet and satisfying taste are the result of a delicate balance between malt and hop. Tremblay is a complex blend of fine aromas.

Typical pale lager, summer-beer style. Nothing exceptional, but does the job.

Pours a pale golden with a small white head with poor retention but still good lacing. Nose is of grape drank and it feels a little acidic. Taste is indeed tart and carries some light corn and cereals. Body is weak, really light. Mouthfeel is more than thin, akin to drinking straight tap water. I kid you not, not once did I feel like I was drinking a beer. Blah.

Bottle 341ml. Pours blond with medium white head. Good lacing. Too much bubble action. Aroma is of grain, sugar. Not much to smell to be honest. Taste is of grain, slight bitterness, malt, unpleasant aftertaste. Palate: Light body. Heavy carbonation. Overall: Nothing too gross or repulsive here: just a total lack of interesting feature.

Bottle (341 ml). Clear yellow with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma of grains, light malt and light herbal notes. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Light body. Good carbonation. Watery. Bland. Not bad for a Premium Lager.

A nice clean crisp and flavourful larger. This one was quite refreshing, enjoyable.

On tap at La Distillery (Montreal). Pours a clear yellow gold with average-sized white head. Weak grainy aroma and flavour. Lightish body. Meh.

Haven’t drunk this beer a single time since I got a job, which will probably tell you more about what you’re in for than any description of the actual flavour, which is malty, not super-bitter, maybe a little corny, but completely forgettable. You are making a grave mistake if you bother pouring this one into a glass--this is meant to be swilled straight from the bottle, and quickly. Besides, the complete lack of head makes it look like hell. Makes me a little nostalgic, though; I’ll give it that.
