Bottle 50cl. w. swing top @ Gasthof Weber by Brauerei Weber, Ringstrasse 46, 96114 Hirschaid-Robersdorf, Bavaria, Germany.
Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dusty, fruity, caramel, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and burnt malt bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100401]

Draft. An amber beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a hint of acidity. The flavor is sweet malty with some notes of caramel, leading to a slighlty bitter finish.

(On tap) Clear, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Sweetish with a lightly caramelish malt nose. Medium-bodied with a solid, lightly sweet malt base and some caramel. Everything nicely balanced by some good aroma hops. 091106

Bottled at the brewpub. Clear pale brown, small head. Lightly cellary aroma with some roasty malt. Dryish and medium bodied with soft but comapct maltiness. Long salty resiny hop bitterness.

Bottle, 5.2% bought at the brewery. Seemingly clear dark amber colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is mildly malty, there is a faint hint of stable, balancing off the maltiness. Very mellow and drinkable, but with some flavour.

Bottle at home. It’s warm golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit and biscuits. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, biscuits, fruit, and the finish is dry and a little citrussy.

Amber color. Malty, nutty, slightly caramelly aroma. Sweetish, malty flavor with a hint of toffee, walnut and butter. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Very smooth, medium bodied. Good quality beer.

Sehr süßer Geruch nach Pfirsich. Leicht malziger und wenig röstiger Antrunk. Süffig, etwas süß, deutlich weniger als errochen. Der Hopfen fällt nun auf und kann sich sonst im Hintergrund verbergen. Dennoch sind besonders im Abgang hopfige Noten erkennbar, die gut mit dem Malz harmonisieren.

Swing-top bottle, bought at the brewery: Hazy, ambercoloured, thin but stable foamy layer; distinctive grainy and fruity nose with a tinge of dust and yeast; moderate bitter flavour, pleasant soft mouthfeel, low carbonation; shorter, soft bitter and fruity finish. A pleasant and tasty rural Franconian beer...., balances well grainy fruitiness and bitter hoppiness.

(swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized, slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet malty, slightly toasty nose with a touch of caramel and barnyard, accompanied by hay and herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour; minimal toasty, malty taste with light notes of caramel, a subtle fruitiness and a shy herbal hoppy blend; a bit slim, bitter-sweet finish with a light hop-character. Well-balanced but a bit thin Landbier.
