2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 solidfunk (1783) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 27, 2012
I’m pretty sure this is the beer I was served, though the waiter at King’s Chinese buffet in Owen Sound didn’t know exactly what it was. Smells a little malty, decently interesting for a lager. Tastes crisp, a little above average. No foul aftertaste at least. Went well to wash down the greasy fake Chinese food, at least. Pitcher.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 bunget (315) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 6, 2012
355ml bottle. The lightest of all the Monkeys. Yellow body with a touch of haze, small white head, poor retention. Aroma is slightly hop like, a hint of malt, faint sweetish tones, some grass, a little floral. Taste is fresh, malt, a little sourness, a hint of grassy hops, cardboard. It’s a Flying Monkeys for the masses. Super boring.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 WheatKing (698) - Oak Bay, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 25, 2012
Everyone expects this beer to be the lowest rated for the brewer because of its low alcohol content. Clicking doesn’t disappoint. For what it is, though, I guess I can’t complain. Nice citrus hop smell, and yes it does have body. Very little head. I guess that’s the way it is with this type, though. Uses less ingredients and therefore should be cheaper than it is.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Frothmeister (382) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 6, 2012
355ml bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow, with a thin white head that quickly diminished. Aroma of malt, corn syrup, light fruityness, mild spice. Honestly, smells pretty great for a light beer. Taste wise very thin, watery bitterness, faint malt, corn, and a strange artificial sweetener taste in the finish.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 rob6239 (465) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 29, 2011
From bottle. and I don’t think its called Robert Simpson Anti-Gravity anymore, just Anti-Gravity. Pours with almost no head and plain lager aroma, nothing special. Has a slightly unique aftertaste that kicks in that is sort of like biscuits. Only 4.5%. I don’t mind it for a change here and there.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 lukin (337) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 24, 2011
draught. Typical grainy malty taste. A light beer that actually has flavour? Not really. I suppose it is a better alternative than macro light beers, but then thats not saying much.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 imaragingbull (494) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 10, 2011
Bottle pours Hazed, yellow straw with tiny tight white head. Aroma salt-sea water, grain, apricots, vegetable, wood and caramel. Light med body, creamy mouthfeel, refreshing flavour. Salty aftertaste. Not the best flying monkeys beer.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 RayOhm (474) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 21, 2011

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JoeMcPhee (7618) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 2, 2011
tap at the Winking Judge. Pale straw colour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly crockery with a nice light noble hop aroma. Softly herbal and a little bit lemony as well. There is a hint of of soft fruitiness, but that is also quite restrained. Clean with the faintest hint of sulfur as well. There is a bit of light zestiness on the back of the palate. Simple, but well-made brew.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Metalchopz (1741) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 9, 2011
Originally rated January 2009. This light Canadian beer pours a pale yellow colour that is slightly unfiltered and has a small white head that has not much to show for (weak retention and lacing). Very lightly carbonated. The smell though is quite nice for a light brew. Not typical with some bread malt aroma. The mouthfeel is not as watery as I would of expected. Again, the malt shows up in the taste, with some biscuit flavoured malts. So, light beer yes, but above average in this category and accomplishing what they wanted... a micro made for lawn-mowing.
