Commercial Description:
AntiGravity is our answer to the call for a natural, craft-brewed Light Ale that actually still has flavour. The challenge was to give the beer a certain body and complexity not usually found in beers at the lighter end of the spectrum Here it is. Antigravity is lighter, but still flavorful; effervescent and playful, but not too hoppy or aggressive. It’s an easygoing ale for times when you want to let someone else run the planet for the day and just enjoy the ride a while. Oh, and it’s an easygoing ale which was awarded Gold in the 2008 Ontario Brewing Awards. We said it was a Light Ale, not a conventional one!

355 mL Bottle. The package does have a comical quotation on it: "Let someone else run the planet today... enjoy the ride for a while." Okay, let’s put on the animated flick, "Fly Me To The Moon", let’s put on our space suits and have a look at this. Pale straw yellow body with a thin fizzy head that instantly dissipates to a scanty ring leaving some lace. The aroma is grains with a yeast bite, although faint. The flavor is a very light malt with a light biscuity aftertaste and a finish that leaves the impression of this beer being somewhat watery. Not too offensive but not too impressive.

basic lager, nothing special for my palate, but I can see how this might appeal and convert some macro drinkers.

Fairly basic beer. Cheesy aroma, with som malt. Fizzy carbonation wih a little white, a little lace on very light yellow. Thin mouthfeel, a tad soapy taste. Drinkable.

Can: Poured a pale yellow lager with a pure white medium foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma is mostly dominated by some very bland malt but no adjunct could be detected. Taste is also dominated by some weak malt with no much else discernable. I kind of understand what they are aiming for but some kind of taste profile would probably have been enjoy more by their customer target segment.

Well, as far as light beer goes, this is pretty decent. Pours a pretty standard yellow fizzy beer. The aroma is some decent grassy, malty aroma. The flavour.....well there is some, and thats really saying something for a light beer. Straight up maltyness and not much else, but still pretty tasty for a light beer.

Smells like corn, pale yellow, white head. Tastes like..."oh the humanity" harsh, this blows!

Straw colour. Fairly strawlike nose with faint hop. This is clean, strawlike, fairly sweet. The body is very light. This thing finishes really quickly, clean. Well-made, but truly boring and really, are they going to out-market the global conglomerates?
