2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Oakes (10941) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - SEP 24, 2008
Straw colour. Fairly strawlike nose with faint hop. This is clean, strawlike, fairly sweet. The body is very light. This thing finishes really quickly, clean. Well-made, but truly boring and really, are they going to out-market the global conglomerates?
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Lubiere (8247) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 29, 2010
A light golden ale with a thick receeding white head. Aroma of biscuitty malt and sweet corn. In mouth, a rather mundane ale with light malt, faint hops, light chalkyness, lighter bodied. Bottle from LCBO,
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JoeMcPhee (7625) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 2, 2011
tap at the Winking Judge. Pale straw colour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly crockery with a nice light noble hop aroma. Softly herbal and a little bit lemony as well. There is a hint of of soft fruitiness, but that is also quite restrained. Clean with the faintest hint of sulfur as well. There is a bit of light zestiness on the back of the palate. Simple, but well-made brew.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Sammy (7041) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2009
Fairly basic beer. Cheesy aroma, with som malt. Fizzy carbonation wih a little white, a little lace on very light yellow. Thin mouthfeel, a tad soapy taste. Drinkable.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jercraigs (6477) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 11, 2008
2008-08-10. Very pale yellow, small white head. Very mild aroma, light straw/grains. Very light bitterness, mild pale malts. Average palate. Clean, mainstream. Nothing wrong with it, but theres not enough of anything for it to be right either. Bland, but I suppose its decent enough for something targeting the Light category? On tap at the Toronto Festival Of Beer

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 HogTownHarry (5653) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JUL 18, 2009
Bottle (355ml). Clear light gold, average quick-diminishing fizzy white head (3-). Slightly honey-sweet dry aroma, scorched straw and something stale and herbal. Taste isn’t bad - honey, clover, mild cereal malt body. Light body, very lively mouthfeel, quick finishing, but very crisp and refreshing - seriously, not bad at all for what it is - can it and toss a sixer in your golf bag.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Beershine (5173) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - SEP 20, 2008
Pale yellow. Smells like plastic, buttery bread crusts. Sweet in a candy bar way. Oily. Drinkable, though, and not entirely bad.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 blankboy (5153) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 19, 2008
Sampled at the Ontario Brewing Awards at the Esplanade Bier Mrkt. Pours a clear bubbly pale gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma of grain and faint fruit -- smells alright, there’s nothing bad there, it’s just too mild and dull. Watery, mild Pale Lager flavour -- again, it’s clean but oh so dull. Not much flavour, mild in all respects -- I see no point in drinking this.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 mabel (5043) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 20, 2008
[1573-20080810] Tap. Grainy yeasty bread aroma. Clear, pale orange body with quick white bubbles. Grainy yeasted bread dough continues in the flavour. Light body. Poor.
