COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We take our time gently crafting Conferation Ale in our waterfront brewery using good old-fashioned care and the finest ingredients: seven select grains of malted barley, specialty hops, premium yeast, and the purest water from our natural spring. Our long-aged rich golden ale pours with a thich rocky croawn revealing a subtle hint of malty sweetness and an elegant hop finish.

First drink after 3 day no drink moratorium at Lil Baci in loserville is disappointing. The pour is promising but the taste is all metal & copper. It’s like the monkeys are trying to do steamwhiste with the pennies steeped in water flavour profile. Avoid.

Canette 500ml.

Light amber colour. Half a finger of fizzy head. Caramel, some toffy and grain in both the flavour and aroma. Very smooth across the palate.

Monkeys beer for beginners. Lighter amber pour with a finger of head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malts. Inviting enough but i’m not getting much else. Clean tasting - Malty, bready with a bit of earthiness. Very slight amount of hopping. Very easy drinking. Light to medium body. Carbonation is right for this style. I prefer to cook with it (great for a bacon wrapped chicken dish or to to toss in a pan of veggies and mushrooms) but I have enjoyed it at my local pub - of course my other option was Moosehead.

Originally rated July 2006. This premium long-aged blonde ale pours a light yellow colour with a white foamy head that stays a bit and creates a small amount of lace in spots. Carbonation is quite alive with bigger bubbles. Big nose of grainy malts and biscuit. Creamy and watery at the same time. There is a metallic flavour in the taste that bugs me. Other than that, good grainy malt with a nice hoppy grass finish that is kind of dry. At least no metal in the aftertaste. Nothing impressive, but worth a try.

Old rate. 355ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a light amber with decent off white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy with a tinge of sweet malt. Flavour is largely unrewarding and mild. Hops are barely there but what I can detect taste fresh. Malt gives a reasonable counter play...but this is craft beer aimed at the macro audience. Well made but uninspired and safe.

355ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours amber with a good head. Looks inviting, but isn’t. Flavour was harsh, metallic. Quite dissapointing for a craft brew. (from my notes, I know the beer is retired).

Bottle courtesy of matt7215. Pours copper with a thin off white head. Smells of hay, citrus, sweet malt. Tastes sweet and citrussy with a malty finish.

355ml bottle from the LCBO as part of a Discovery Pack Aroma is slight hops smells like a cheap Americian pale lager Pours a nice coppery orange with medium sized foamy white head The taste is a little metallic it does taste like a pale lager but better i would have one if there was nothing else

Draught @ Winking Judge. Clear coppery gold. Aroma is of toasted butter. Soft, low carbonation. Flavors are Aunt Jemima and butter on waffles. So buttery it actually tastes not too bad and crosses over the diacetyl line to become almost interesting.
