Cask by handpump, half-pint shared with Finn at NWAF. Brown coloured body, slightly hazy. No head. Malty-fruity aroma, hint of rhubarb. Taste of semi-tart fruits and nutty malts. Dry hopped ending. Thin in the mouth. Different, carries some interests (Manchester, 24.01.2013).

Cask, 3.3% as Dark Hatters. The flavour starts off with a bit of green apple. Turns slightly roasted, still mild, of course. Not so great, perhaps not quite fresh.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange and dark amber with a small white and creamy head. Aroma is flavour is slight roasted malty and fruity. Bitter and slight roasted malty. Dry into the finish.

Cask. A hazy red beer with a tan head. The aroma is quite light with notes of both sweet and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of roasted malt. The body is light.

On tap at The Church, Cheadle. The bastards burnt my food, pleasantly surprised by the beer though. The usual Robinsons affair of fruity malty caramel, toffee stuff. Done nicely though this time. Really enjoyed this.

Cask in the smithfield hotel, manchester. Alround rating: Roasty malts, bit of chocolate, no hop balance, feelign a bit tierd and over vented. But still the best beer here.

The Smithfield, Manchester. Boiled sweet cherry and caramelised sugar aroma. Deep ruby draped with lace. Hints of watery dried fruit and flat Dr Pepper. Mealy milk and cereal afters. Didnt get the dry hopping. Thin and simple, but it is 3.3%.

Cask, gravity dispense, at 5th Globe Beer Festival, Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Red brown with a small off white head. Malty aroma, slightly roasted. Pear fruit and malt in taste, but it’s a bit thin to be honest.
