2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma: Bread, light hoppy, spicy,
Appearance: Clear golden body with light amber hues. Medium white head.
Flavour: Sweet grain, light bread, crisp, light bitterness, medium sweetness, light fruitiness,
Palate: Light body, high carbonation, carbonic bite,
Overall: The carbonation is too high, giving the beer almost a standard pale lager feel, Leaving the beer for a while does make the beer better.
500 ml bottle, poured.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Morrisons drank at home. Clear gold lasting thin white head. Much like the Titanic golden ale before. Slightly citrusy, clean slightly bitter golden ale. It’s fine. Drinkable enough and almost completely indistinguishable from the Titanic before this one. Bizarre. Fine though and happy to drink it.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled, 500ml from Morrison’s in Banbury. Gold with short white head. Sweet, thin beer with a corn like, grainy perhaps, note. There is a frutiy sucrose note in the background. Just ok.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: Clear light/medium amber with finger thick white head.
Aroma: Biscuit, lemon/orange marmalade, floral, slightly peppery and grassy.
Taste: Low/medium bitterness and sourness and low sweetness.
Palate: Thin texture and light body, average/prickly carbonation, lingering dry malty citrus finish with gentle bitterness and citrus tartness.
Comments: Fairly enjoyable summer beer, slightly lacking in flavour and left a glass lace.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml Bottle. This pours a medium thick medium laced white head over a golden body. The aroma is very hoppy with a grapefruit citrus being predominant. It tastes malty to start with which passes to a a sweetness and then the hops kick in - citrus comes to the fore prior to passing to a bitter finish. This is a beaut of a beer. I highly recommend it - and wish it was more widely available.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. A nice ale. Not bad but not extraordinary either. This is my probably 27th english ale. I had many by hook norton and williams bros. some typical english ale were good, some not. This one os no different. Overall refreshing and drinkable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
50cl bottle from Morrisons. Pale amber with moderate carbonation and a billowing cream head; clean citrus aroma; reather muddy in the mouth though with a sweet grainy body; before a dry finish. An acceptable summer beer.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: AUG 2, 2013 Bottled 22/06/13. A golden beer with a whitish head and lace. A bit fusty farty in the nose with obvious pasteurized notes. A hint of lemony hopping in the mouth but again the cardboardy notes kill the flavours. Score 2.5
Subsequent rating scored 2.1. Average becomes 2.3
