Dizzy Blonde is a straw coloured ale with distinctive herbal or perfume like hop aroma. It’s a light refreshing beer with a clean zesty hop, complimented by a crisp dry finish.

(Bottle): Pours a clear pale gold with a medium white head that lasts. Lots of hops, citrus and fruits in the aroma. Hoppy taste with a sweet, fruity base. Mouthfeel is silky but lively carbonation on the tongue. Lovely, refreshing, drinkable beer.

Bottle. Blonde and very clear.Lovely hoppy flavour with some citrus thrown in. Plenty of body considering its relatively low strength. Far better than I anticipated.

A very light ale with hints of flowers and lemon. Almost like a lager with flavour. Not one I’d get excitede about but it does go down easily.

500ml bottle: best before the end of Oct 2013, poured into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ pint vase on 16 Mar 2013. It looked fine: light amber, almost lager-like in its clarity, on top a smooth head of white foam. Rising carbonisation bubbles could clearly be seen throughout the tasting and the head left some lacing as the beer level sank. Hops rule the nose: citrusy and spicy, floral notes too. The taste is a little to lemony/citrusy for me, with slight biscuity/toffee flavours: a lemon tart feel to the brew maybe. Refreshing but not my sort of thing. Body depth is Ok for a 3.8% brew and it is easy to drink, but I’m a malts man and this doesn’t do it for me. I’ve complained and bleeted about citrusy golden brews in the UK for a couple of years now: this one is towards the upper end of my liking, the semi-sweet undertones have saved it from a crappy score.

500ml brown bottle from Morrisons. Largerish beer. Dryish. Caramel and vanilla. Some soapy lemony hops that don’t sit well with the malt. Not great, but drinkable.

Good looking blonde, clean golden colour, finger thick white head, leaving a light lace. Little on the nose, nicely hopped palate with loads of tropical fruit flavours, some hints of malt in the background. Lightish and easy drinking stuff, a session brew! Morrisons.

Clear golden beer with a thin, frothy head. Aroma is mostly hop and the flavour is also hoppy with a slight sweet (fruity?) tang. Is slightly lively on the tongue and very drinkable.

Bottle from Morrisons Supermarket. Pours golden coloured, nice head. Looks good. Initial aroma of peach quickly giving way to a rather indistinct, flat smell. First taste is a big mouthful of hops, lovely for a secod then it almost instantly disappears and is replaced with a watery almost metallic taste. Quie fizzy in the mouth but suddenly goes flat and watery. Overall, looks great, first aroma and taste are quite amazing then it all goes flat. Had high hopes for this one but ended up disappointed. Shame!!!
