Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, sweet, fruity, orange, sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (170108)

Cask in the Sycamore, Parwich. Amber ale with a white head. A fairly standard tasting golden ale with a decent amount of hops in there. Nice easy drinking.

Cask, Philarmonic, Liverpool. Copper looks with a meek off-white head. . Malty nose with a little fruitiness. Some hop presence but a bit on the thin side flavour-wise. Rustic bitter finish. Drinkable, but forgettable.

Aroma: Very mild aroma. Hay and earthy hops.
Appearance: Clear amber body with a small white head. No visible carbonation. Good lacing.
Taste: Soft peach, wood, resin and malt flavours. Pleasant but dull.
Palate: Thin to medium body with a very oily mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.
Overall: Easy drinking but boring.
