Golden amber colour with some sour fruit flavour. Dry malt finish.
2. Cask Stillage at Edgeley Park, Stockport 02/06/2006
Fruit and roast aromas. Dark slightly strong and fruity with some bitterness in a chocolate malt finish.
Svesse (1811), Hässelby, Sweden
Aug 21, 2006 (Cask at Baker’s Vault, Stockport, 29 July) Colour is pale amber with frothy off-white head. Nose is malty and fruity with hints of apricots, orange, mandarin. Taste starts malty, turns fruitier with some orange and apricots. Light body, smooth, modest hop character. Friendly and ok, but not very interesting.

Jul 9, 2006 Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. Yet another vaguely summery world cup special. Gentle citric hops battle with the sulphur for prominence and in the mouth the sweetness from the malt gets a look in. Not bad but slightly confused with flavours pulling in their own directions.
