Trooper is a premium British beer inspired by Iron Maiden and handcrafted at Robinsons brewery. Being a real ale enthusiast, vocalist Bruce Dickinson has developed a beer which has true depth of character. Malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobec, Goldings and Cascade hops dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon.

Lacking a strong aroma but what I could get was a pleasant cereal/biscuit smell. Moorish bready notes are quickly taken over by hoppy bitterness which although quite strong are not unpleasant. A nice beer, just not my preferred style. Would drink again though.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale amber colour with a thin but lasting white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, citrusy lemon and a little spice. Taste of sweet caramel, biscuit and light fruitiness and balanced with citrusy lemon, orange and grassy hops. Light bodied, moderate carbonation and a smooth texture. A soft bitterness in the finish. A decent balanced bitter but prefer it on cask.

first time tasted at copenhell, but i did not rate it. Now i found it in superbrugsen enghavevej, so got another chance. Obviously rated while listening to the trooper. clear orange, small smooth offwhite head. Aroma resembles very much an english bitter, but perhaps one of the stronger abv of that kind, with a tad more malty sweetness. flavor is the same, herbal bitterness, with a sweet malty note it is built upon. aftertaste is herbal and slightly metallic, also notes of euro hops, makes me think very commercial brew, but considering that, one of the better commercial brews out there.

Noget skuffende. Kedelig og ordinær, selv om etiket viser noget andet. Ikke sammenhæng mellem pris og kvalitet

The pour was a murky chestnut brown with a light orange hue and a frothy off white head. It possesses notes of toasted malts, caramel, a hint of dried fruit and a light floral hop. This brew starts with a nice malty caramel flavor and a touch of fruity sweetness that lessens slightly, giving way to a mild hop backbone. A smooth, tasty and easy to drink brew... https://www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReview
