Pretty decent ESB/bitter. Not really a fan of this style, so yeah. It’s okay, but nothing more than that. Better than expected, though.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a light copper with a large white head. The aroma is mostly malt with hints of grass, roast, and nuts. The taste is light to medium bitter. The texture is thin and smooth with a light body. I’d put this just a step or two up from your typical macro beers. Buy one if you’re a Maiden fan, drink it down, and keep the bottle.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a golden amber ale with (surprisingly) heavy carbonation and decent lacing. Any decent aroma from the beer is blocked by the fizz and loose head of the beer. A bit of bitterness and flat sweetness makes it's way through but unfortunately without much impression.
A good mouth coating introduces you to a classic British bitter. Front bitterness is well balanced with a good lingering bitterness. Mostly earthy with a tad of a citrus feel.
The beer is reasonably well balanced but lacks a fullness in flavour. Again, the front bitterness coupled with the unusual, yet weak, head of the beer seems to ruin any flavour profile intended for the beer.

bottle. clear rusty amber with a small white head. crystal malt and butter aroma with a hint of herbal hops. flavor is toasty with grassy zing. hops lend a proper bitterness and don’t distract from the malt. finishes quite dry.

500ml dark glass bottle from Sainsbury’s. Dry, thin malt. Some moderate and pleasant hops. Sweetish flavour. Not a lot going on here, but it’s drinkable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Well, a beer named after one of my favorite songs on the first ever Maiden album I got obviously has to be tried...! Pours clear pale-ish amber with fairly low white head that dissipates quickly. Typical bitter aroma with English hops, light toffee, some malty caramel, some hay. Taste is light bitter initially, with subtle sweetness, followed by a sweeter but abrupt finish. Body is fairly light with above average carbonation.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
0.5 bottle. Strong, clear, amber color; medium, creamy, off-white head which leaves an alright lacing. Strong hop aroma of mostly cascade hops; very fruity but it does not forgo malty tones either, chiefly caramel and biscuit. Taste is bittersweet, balanced, and more on the malty side but not exceedingly so, quite a lot of caramel, floral hints and a tad of sour lemon. Medium body, slick texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is longish, citric with a hop bitterness. Overall the beer is very nicely balanced, quite drinkable, and simply enjoyable; worth recommendation!

Bottle. Golden brown with a white head. Looks really nice. Not much in the way of aroma. Some malt and banana that lingers. Not as bad as I was expecting but still not great.
