3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty decent ESB/bitter. Not really a fan of this style, so yeah. It’s okay, but nothing more than that. Better than expected, though.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours golden amber with a thin head. Mild sweet and bready malty, light fruity notes, light hoppy bitterness, and an earthy and grainy finish. Not bad.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a bottle, San Diego. Weak aroma. This is a subtle beer, in the English style. The flavor is citrus-heavy, with a hint of hops. Pleasant, drinkable beer, like an English ale but with more acidity than most.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nothing wrong with any of the individual components of this beer - the flavours and aromas - it’s just that they aren’t strong enough and don’t come together as a cohesive whole, resulting in a thin, watery lager-like body. Thought it would have more balls.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
4.7% ABV. British bitter.
Nose is sweet and reminiscent of boiling cane sugar. Strong malty notes impress themselves on the nose.
No head. It disappears into a thin rim of light soapy foam, that only a haughty British ale can pull off.
Nicely carbonated with a good fruity body that boasts ripe apples and berries, and then a languorous turn to reveal plenty of bitter hoppy leg. Yum!
The finish is strangely laager-like, almost weirdly and coincidentally like Tiger Beer.
