Pretty decent ESB/bitter. Not really a fan of this style, so yeah. It’s okay, but nothing more than that. Better than expected, though.

30/06/2015 @ istanbul.

This ale is brewed in cooperation with the lead singer of the rock band Iron Maiden, which is a great supporter of British ales. Foam is rich and renewable and emits a nice malty aroma with hints of rye crackers. The taste is also weak malty with hints of rye crackers, but also weak flavor notes of a little honey and Earl Grey tea into play. The hops have little citrus flavor and contributes to good filling in the ale. As ESB could expect little more hoppy bitterness, but it is rather pleasant hoppy so the malt is not dominated by hops. Lovely ESB which unfortunately I enjoy too early in the evening. The right time had probably been ’2 Minutes to Midnight’.
