Trooper is a premium British beer inspired by Iron Maiden and handcrafted at Robinsons brewery. 50 cl bottle @ Artturi, Tampere.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of resiny hops, grass and caramel malts. Flavour of caramel malts, fruits, mild grass and goose berries. Strong carbonation, slick palate. A bit too malty and resiny.

Aroma is floral, malty and a little fruity. The taste is mild with malts and caramel, dried fruits and a slight twist of lemon leading into a calm and soothing finish. It’s an OK bitter, but nothing more.

Couleur blonde légèrement trouble avec un col blanc assez stable. Aromes de céréales secondé d’une petite pointe d’agrumes. Bière ordinaire mais respectable!

Bottle. Pours golden amber with a thin head. Mild sweet and bready malty, light fruity notes, light hoppy bitterness, and an earthy and grainy finish. Not bad.

Poured from a bottle, San Diego. Weak aroma. This is a subtle beer, in the English style. The flavor is citrus-heavy, with a hint of hops. Pleasant, drinkable beer, like an English ale but with more acidity than most.

Nothing wrong with any of the individual components of this beer - the flavours and aromas - it’s just that they aren’t strong enough and don’t come together as a cohesive whole, resulting in a thin, watery lager-like body. Thought it would have more balls.

La botella es llamativa. El. Sabos es muy similar a una Ale. Suave con un toque afrutado. Buena adquisición para la colección

1 pint .9 oz bottle, pours a nice copper, low carbonation with thin head. Nice malt flavor with hints of citrus. A very nice ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

4.7% ABV. British bitter. Nose is sweet and reminiscent of boiling cane sugar. Strong malty notes impress themselves on the nose. No head. It disappears into a thin rim of light soapy foam, that only a haughty British ale can pull off. Nicely carbonated with a good fruity body that boasts ripe apples and berries, and then a languorous turn to reveal plenty of bitter hoppy leg. Yum! The finish is strangely laager-like, almost weirdly and coincidentally like Tiger Beer.
