Bottle 0.33L. Brown body with some reddish nuances; large, creamy, tan head, mostly lasting with lacing. Moderate malty (caramel) and light-to-moderate hoppy aroma with notes of dried fruits, raisins and some alcohol. Moderate sweet and light-to-moderate bitter flavour; bitterness is more evident in the finish. Medium-to-full body with creamy texture; soft carbonation.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Grumbo. Really dark ruby red, beige creamy head. Velvety dark toffee aroma, some old wine with notes of dried fruit and some herbal hops. Slightly toasty and a hint of alcohol. The taste: smooth dark caramel, and a spicy hoppy finish. Very good!

Quality old ale nice rum and arisen nose, coats the tongue and doesn't try to hide the alcohol has that dark fruit taste that is always a hit for me a good sipper more of a winter ale.

Very good and tricky beer. Alcohol not sensible almost. Very good appearance, roasty fruity aroma and taste, medium body. Balanced brew. I drink it from the bottle and the carbonation is high for ale. But it gaines drinkability.

An easy drinking stoutish beer or a strong ale. Pours very dark brown with a frothy head that dissipates quite quickly. Aroma of caramel and burnt barley. Taste is medium sweet with medium bitterness. Light lingering bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Deep brown colour with compact light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, oak and dark roasted chocolate. Taste is the same with little presence of alcohol. Finish is slightly bitter. Very nice beer to drink.

Not bad at all. Usual suspects for this type of English ale: roasted malt, dark raisiny fruit, ripe plums in the middle and slightly tart green plums at the edges. Alcohol generally well hidden except for a nice warming at the back.

Brown with a small beige head. Aroma is earthy, chocolate, caramel, bread, sugar, grassy, some floral notes. Taste is chocolate, toffee, raisins, black olives, earthy bitterness, some nice light alcohol presence. Bitter aftertaste.
