Poura a dark red body with a beige head. Aroma contains roasted malts, caramel, dough, a bit of sour wine and alcohol. Taste starts fairly sweet with caramel, continues sour with dark chocolate and roasted malts, ends softly bitter. Medium body with thick texture and noticable alcohol.

Shared 11.2 oz. bottle. Pours an opaque dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dark malts and hints of dark berries, with some chocolate notes. Smells a bit medicinal. Similar taste with some light alcohol and nuts, but the malts are the dominating flavor. Rich. Medium-bodied. A nice ale.

Aroma: fruity and malty with red wine notes; Appearance: dark brown with red undertones; frothy head that dissipates slowly; Taste: very malty with a strain that doesn’t quite work for me; Palate: heavy body with long, sweet finish; Overall: not bad but definitely not my favorite; would not buy again.

Pours very dark red/black with beige thick head. Very nice foam which stay for a while. Aroma is sweet, a lot of plum and raisin, dates, some rum. Taste is not very soft and following aroma. A bit more bitter, not very sweet as nose is. After stays for a while and is a little bit acrid, oak and alcohol reveals. Very nice beer!
