Pours chestnut with small head. Dry chocolate aroma. Medium chocolatey mouthfeel with some bitterness and chocolate aftertaste. Kind of weird, but not outright bad.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Milk chocolate, grapes and apple syrup in the aroma. Sweet, almost sugary flavor with grapes and chocolate powder. Thinnish. Tastes artificial somehow.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark amber, medium to dark red colored beer with a big, thick vast white head. Don’t smell much chocolate. At first only light hints of chocolate in the taste, but when I left it for awhile a little more chocolate appears. Nice carbo and medium body. Nothing wrong with this beer, pretty nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copper with a darker tan head leaving lacing.
Aroma: chocolate, nuts, grass, bitter (as in the beer style).
Taste: lots of milk chocolate, cacao, fruit, quite sweet, low bitterness.
Medium-bodied and smooth.
Feels more like a blend of ale and chocolate than a successful chocolate ale. But not bad.

Into a glass pours a dark ruby red beer . The smell is strong caramelly, but also a lot of chocolate comes through. Starts with lots of coffee and toffee aromas. Toffee and caramel in the middle part. The finish shows delicately hoppy, with a slight caramel flavor and a subtle bitterness, also again lots of chocolate aromas
