Originally labelled as Chocolate Tom. Label was changed to read Old Tom With Chocolate circa 2011.
Old Tom with chocolate is an indulgent rich combination of Robinsons’ award winning Old Tom and the finest cocoa. It is a superior full bodied strong ale filled with the flavour of ripe malt and velvety smooth chocolate teased together with an inspired touch of Madagascan bourbon vanilla.
Chocolate Tom is a deliciously indulgent addition to the Old Tom range, with a recipe developed by Robinsons and the renowned chocolatier Simon Dunn.
With a distinctive ’natural’ milky sweet chocolate palate balanced by underlying hop and roasted malt characters, Chocolate Tom is a superior, rich and warming speciality beer with a dark mahogany colour.

33cl bottle. Poured copper with a thick white head. Lots of chocolate in aroma, butterscotch. Flavor has butterscotch, mild woody notes and truckload of chocolate. Mild coffee in finish. Quite nice, simple.

Cervesa on tal com diu el nom la xocolata predomina tant en gust com en aroma. Cerveza donde tal y como dice el nombre el chocolate predomina tanto en sabor como en aroma.

330 ml. pours murky copper-brown with a lasting film of foam. Aroma of rich toffee, apple, lightly tart berry and a touch of cocoa. Tastes of cocoa, toffee, orange zest, vanilla and toasted oak. Finish has some apple and toasted nut. Medium body has a nice balance and a medium carbonation.

From hipercor, last unit. In duvel glass. after dinner. Amazing aroma, with soft smell and taste to chocolate of the finest kind. Alcohol isnt noticeable. Even with the chocolate is sweetnrss and bitterness are very well balanced, making it very comfortable to drink. A pity that the chocolatier simon dun had to close its business as Ive read in google. Probably wont be able to tase another of this exquisite beverage again

Just a little hint of chocolate, nuts, spruce, barnyard. Dark brown, minimal head. Light sweetness, lightly bitter, thin feel, lively. Overall, little disappointing and not my favorite.

Choc aroma is bolder on the nose than it is on the tongue but it’s there throughout. Clear deep reddish brown beer with off white head. Pleasant smooth malty taste with delicate choc slightly dry finish.
