4.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Aroma: Ginger, light maltiness, chocolate
Appearance: Dark copper body. Medium, rocky, tan head.
Flavour: Chocolate, ginger, nutty, medium sweetness, medium bitterness
Palate: Medium-full body, soft carbonation.
Overall : Nice! I want this with hogswatch lunch. Well balanced in flavour with a surprise! The chocolate was surprising and a welcome taste. A slightly lower ginger aroma is the only thing that I would change.
330 ml bottle poured. Thanks Tanja

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Atlanta, Ga - Tower Beer, Wine & Spirits - 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a murky dark brown with a light but persistent off-white head, very light lacing. Aroma is that of store-brand cola, a touch of ginger, some medicinal notes. Flavor has some cleaning compound accents, a touch of ginger of course, some medicinal notes, but it is surprising blended together well - kind of a guilty pleasure that I probably would not want to drink again. Mouthfeel has a decent spritz to it.

Bottle from bottle park, Bratislava. Dark brown color with small white head. Ginger, caramel malt, lemonade in aroma. Very sweet dark malt, cola, ginger, soapy notes, strange bitterness in finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Marks and Spencer. Dark chestnut ale, no head. Strongly sweet taste with fruitcake and orange. Short finish though - watery all too soon. Nice while the taste lasts.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brun med cremefarvet skum. Duften er fyldig og krydret med tydelig præg af ingefær. Smagen er sød og domineret af ingefær og peber med en varmende, brændende fornemmelse à la chili. Eftersmagen er let syrlig men sød.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a deep brown with off-white head. Aroma is ginger, spice, some roasted notes, some metal and some floral hops. Nice fruity and slick mouth feel with low carbonation. Aftertaste is roasted, ginger, caramel and lasting bitter ginger. Overall: not to bad. The lasting ginger bitterness was out of style.

Damn this is bad. The ale on the base doesnt go with ginger at all. How can they spoil it like that.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Biddenden Winery Shop. It pours darkest ruby-brown with a small beige heas. The nose is dominated by fiery ginger, tangy fruits, toast, earth and mild acidity. The taste is rather sweet upfront, sweet liquorice, dark fruits, cherry cola, good hit of ginger, sugar, wood, toast and dandelion & burdock with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body and average carbonation. A bit of a disappointment really, given the base beer involved. Ginger is quite dominating behind a very sweet base.

Ok.. definitely theres ginger and definitely theres some Chinese X)
Distinct spiciness with decent beer background. Quite malty, some caramel, citrus and ofc. .ginger. Interesting is that its quite watery thou syrupy in same time.
Sweetish with notes of bitter. Maybe ginger is too intense for me, but its weird enough to my like. .So.. I like =]
