3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brun med cremefarvet skum. Duften er fyldig og krydret med tydelig præg af ingefær. Smagen er sød og domineret af ingefær og peber med en varmende, brændende fornemmelse à la chili. Eftersmagen er let syrlig men sød.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared, as Marks and Spencer Ginger Ale. Pours clear brown with a small tan head. Aroma of big ginger upfront with notes of pepper, overripe dark fruit, toffee and malt hiding behind. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Above light bodied with the ginger and pepper notes giving a spicy lightly hot mouthfeel and moderate prickly carbonation.

@multiboutique tasting. Wet Ricola Schweizerkräuter, old Pullmolls and other cough sirupy nuisances in the nose. Taste also is quite a let-down. Cloying Karamalz. Could be better when served with ice.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330ml bottle at home. Aroma is indeed very spicy ginger, some caramel, malt. Appearance is clear to light cloudy with a fast decreasing brown-ish head. Taste is sweet and light sour. A bit licorice-ish. Stays for a while on the palate. Drinkable but not the choice for every day.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
33cl. M&S branding. Heavy ginger fizzy drink without major resemblance to the beer. Sharp and tangy. Heavily caramelized. Starts to burn your mouth in about 2 minutes after you try it - a tricky drink that is. Worth a try, but again - this has nothing to do with traditional ale.
