Cask at JDW ... Pale golden orange ... light lemon nose ... toffee hops ... little wattery blackcurrent ... bit non discript but quite nice.

JDW. Pale English session bitter. Well made, nice beer. Sweet pale malt with a biscuit character.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with lacing white head. Quite flowery fragrant on the nose leading to a thin malty body. The northdown hops give it a perfumey flavour, I threw in rose petal as a characteristic, but its hard to pin down. Neat ad tidy dry bitter, we liked it.

Cask handpull at Wetherspoons, JDW, Folkestone. Gold with lasting beige head. Biscuity bitter. Faint malt/hop aroma. Decent session bitter with just enough hop on the end to make it suppable. Good condition. Nice mouthfeel, some yeast character. Hops on finish are bitter and tasty.

Cask (handpump) at the Britons Protection, Manchester. Bright amber colour with a tightly sparkled head. Decent balance of pale malt and tangy hop. Standard Robinsons fare. Solid but unspectacular.
