bobinlondon (220), Harrow, Greater London, England Jul 13, 2008 Handpulled cask at JDW Stanmore during recent international beer fest. Gold with lasting beige head. Biscuity bitter. Faint malt/hop aroma. Decent session bitter with just enough hop on the end to make it suppable. Good condition. Nice mouthfeel, some yeast character. Hops on finish are bitter and tasty. wheresthepath (246), Buckinghamshire, England May 16, 2008 [cask at Back of Beyond, Reading] A very light bitter, pronounced honey flavour, would make a great session beer. Not a classic but I feel I could drink a lot of this. Well balanced. SilkTork (3909), Rochester, Kent, England May 4, 2008 JDW. Pale English session bitter. Well made, nice beer. Sweet pale malt with a biscuit character. cgarvieuk (2525), Edinburgh, Scotland Apr 18, 2008 Cask at JDW ... Pale golden orange ... light lemon nose ... toffee hops ... little wattery blackcurrent ... bit non discript but quite nice.
