Trooper is a premium British beer inspired by Iron Maiden and handcrafted at Robinsons brewery. Being a real ale enthusiast, vocalist Bruce Dickinson has developed a beer which has true depth of character. Malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobec, Goldings and Cascade hops dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon.

Drank from the van.look,I bought this because it has Eddie on it,I want expecting anything good. That said, it’s not bad. Slightly hoppy larger scent (from the van, so grain of salt). Assistance no idea. Taste is light malt and mild bitter hops. Overall, decent drinker, not quite the novelty I expected

Bought this beer thinking it would just be a gimmick, and was pleasantly surprised. Nothing phenomenal, but worth a try.

Very English beer pours a deep amber with an inch of noisy head (from a growler). Aroma is English malt profile with grains and the slightest hint of caramel. Something possibly metallic. Taste is mild, malts are quite dry, bitter ing hops to balance with an earthy, floral character. Vanishing act of a finish. Not enough flavour there to be that interesting, but just enough sweetness and body to not be ’chuggable’. Ok.

Gift pack tin with Trooper glass and bottle dedicated to the Iron Maiden lead singer . Fuck me Bruce Dickinson must like stale , dead bullshit beers, Real Ale enthusiast ? Then why filter your special beer ?. the head is robust and fucken foamy above amber/orange liquid. nose of malt , spicy hops , caramel . flavours suggest , caramel , citrus apple esters , spicy booze , cardboard , twiggy leaves emphasis in the sweet fucken finish .

500ml bottle from local shop. Clear amber colour, white foam head and malty fruity nose. Taste is sweetish malt, grain, tangy fruity with biscuit & nutty bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry biscuity bitter finish. OK.

Pours clear amber with a small white head. Herbal and citrus aroma. Slight caramel malt, tea and lemon taste. Not terrible but nothing to write home about.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer and Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear light copper with small off-white head. Aroma of tart, notes of caramel, some fruitiness (peach, pear) and hint of citrus. The flavor has light malty sweetness, notes of caramel and citrus, light hoppy bitterness, biscuity, semi-dry bitter finish. Soft carbonation, light to medium-bodied.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond shop. Clear orange-copper with a small white head. Smell of grains and hay. Taste of biscuits, bread, herbal and earthy. Light-medium, dry-ish aftertaste. Not very flavorful, but OK.
