Trooper is a premium British beer inspired by Iron Maiden and handcrafted at Robinsons brewery. Being a real ale enthusiast, vocalist Bruce Dickinson has developed a beer which has true depth of character. Malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobec, Goldings and Cascade hops dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon.

Very good white head on this pure golden beer. Sparkling clear. Some lacing. In aroma there are hops, citruses. Hints of flowers. Overall aroma is malty. Medium bitterness. Very smooth, medium to high body, medium carbonated. Solid beer. Up the Irons!

Pours a dark amber body under a thick and lasting white head. Thin feel but not watery. Light flavors of citric and maybe lemon. Not a very deep flavor profile but not really shallow either. Refreshing but not watery in feel or flavor. Would be good on a hot day.

Nothing special. The bottle is cool but that is about all. Imported from Robinsons Brewery.

Clear old gold pour with a two finger, creamy white head that has great retention and leaves decent lacing. Aroma is cereal, light caramel, biscuit, planty and citrusy hops, just a little sharp tree fruit. Flavor is toast, dry caramel, spicy, citrus and planty hops, cereal and cooked apples. Light body, medium to heavy, blanketing carbonation, dry feel throughout. Decent, well balanced, but not too impressive in any way. It could use a deeper malt presence.

pours clear bright golden with a very small off-white cap, little retention and lacing. caramel, sweetish caramel coffee - chewy, faint fruitiness - spicy oranges - bit of c’s, minerals, touch of earthiness, grass, pepper, clean yeast - although classic buttery english angles. light to low carbonation - clearly lacking, light body - watery, balanced earthy-grassy-citrusy finish. inoffensive but weak.

Pours a darker amber color, topped with an averahe white head. Mild malty aroma, nice caramel, slightly biscuity. Works nice together. Starts with mild caramel, nice moderate bitterness in the body. Surprisingly nice.

500 mL Bottle. darker amber pour, medium dense white head. Aroma is biscuit malt, some nuts and light fruit. Taste is similar, bit of caramel and a decently bitter finish. Did not think this one would be this good. (although its still just good overall)
