Trooper is a premium British beer inspired by Iron Maiden and handcrafted at Robinsons brewery. Being a real ale enthusiast, vocalist Bruce Dickinson has developed a beer which has true depth of character. Malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobec, Goldings and Cascade hops dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon.

Bottle. A fruity and light bitter smell, later a little bit sweeter. No head, the body is dark red-brown. A nice bitter taste, also some hops. The body is rather light and dry with a flat carbonation.

Bottle - good size thick frothy head, clear medium copper color, biscuity malt aroma and flavor, fair dry earthy hop balance, dry finish - not bad overall - Go Maiden though!!!

Bottiglia da 500 ml. Color ambrato con schiuma fine color nocciola di poca tenuta. Al naso un finissimo caramello e malto. Al palato oltre ad un leggero amaro il nulla.

It’s been way too long since I’ve been here. Good to be back. Poured from a 0.5 litre bottle. Cheers to the Iron Maiden neck band which was before my time, but interested me during the teenage years. English goblet. Pours a medium copper with quarter-inch disappearing head. Nose of tree-nuts and earth. Different taste. Earthy with hops, dissipates and comes back with a slight stale flavor. Perhaps the color is rust from the Maiden? Not great, but alas, more flavor than a macro.

Pours deep cold, frothy head. Flowers, malt, before washed out by cardboard, glue, and chalk. FTFM. Total drain pour.

Pours a dark gold color with a red tone to it and a short lived white head. The aroma was of sweet malt with citrus notes. The flavor was a mild malt with a medium bitter hop bite. The body was medium with a bitter aftertaste. Overall it was okay.

Nice floral aromas and dough notes, caramel ones are perceived as well. Once is poured a orange clear beer is seen with a tan head, the taste however, is quite rough and the sweetness of the malt is almost erased by the bitterness of the hops and esters from the fermentation process.

Where and how: LCBO, bottle 500 ml
Aroma very nice vineus floral hop set up. Refreshing in hot day. Caramel candy malty behind.
Appearance :
Top: medium plus sized with ornamental lace on glass.
Base: clear sunny amber.
Palate : medium bodied, frisky but soft carbonation, medium lifespan.
Taste: delicate but with character ,as in aroma floral green even tad citrusy. Sweeten with malts. Clean pleasant finish.
Other notes underrated British bitter.
