Trooper is a premium British beer inspired by Iron Maiden and handcrafted at Robinsons brewery. Being a real ale enthusiast, vocalist Bruce Dickinson has developed a beer which has true depth of character. Malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobec, Goldings and Cascade hops dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon.

Bottle. Dark amber/copper colour. Didnít impress at first, but became more enjoyable. After taste a little sharp, could be smoother.

2014-12-07. Crisp caramel amber body with a small off white head. 3+ Aroma is malty, toasty caramel malt. Flavour is similar, toasty caramel English malt character. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. 3+ Solid take on the style but itís not really my cup of tea. Bottle from the LCBO, Toronto

Cool label, but thatís about it. Not even up to par as an average beer or bitter. Kinda boring. Some lackluster hops (light lemon and orange) and well balanced, but just not exciting.

12/9/14. Pint bottle from Warehouse. This doesnít seem to be a very metal beer. Oh well, here goes. Clear golden copper pour with a small, fluffy khaki head that fades and laces a little. Plain aroma, bitter maltiness, husky, butter, tea.... screams English beer. Malty flavor, earthy, dirt, burnt caramel, toffee, almost meaty in a way, black tea... strikes me as English for sure. Touches of lemon peel. Eh. Disappointed, Maiden.

Drukket på gaffel og karaffel. Mellombrun farge, lett krydder lukt, lite annet. Ganske nøytral smak.
