Bottle at home. Hazy reddish glow, almost no head. Aroma of floral hops, German yeast, red fruits, licorice and cardamom. Flavor is bitter dry licorice, quite spicy and almost without carbonation. Interesting brew.

33 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK. Past best before by a few days so not sure of its state. Hazy copper colour, metallic vinegar and chocolate aroma (perhaps vinegar from age). Balanced malt and hops, some toffee and more astringentness on the finish.

Dark nut brown color, small off-white aroma. Artifical chocolate-cocoa aroma. Light bodied. Similar artifical cocoa, cocoa butter in the flavor than was in nose. Oily palate. Crystal malty. Odd and not too fresh sample.

Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Grimsby. Hazy red brown, thin shortlived off white head and low condition. Low fruit, caramel and chocolate in the nose with some yeasty esters apparent, thin and metallic in the mouth with a gentle sweet toffee note and hints of oxidation. Brief sweetness in an otherwise insipid finish.

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate - dark malt, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate - dark malt, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
