COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

Pours a rich, chocolaty brown with a vigorous beige head, which dissipates quickly. Aroma of chocolate, toast, plum, licorice, and raisin. In terms of taste, there’s caramel, toast, plum, and chocolate, with a slightly bitter finish and the warming sensation you’d expect of a beer this strong. Full bodied, rich, creamy, and lively carbonation. very nice.

Dark mahogany pour. Beautiful Large thick creamy frothy lasting beige head. Complex malty, yeasty, and dark fruity. Lighter full body. Soft. Luscious and creamy. Pleasant spiciness. Welcomed alcohol warmth. Wonderful balance. One of the benchmarks of what beer can be.

0,33 pullo@Kaisla Hki. Syvän ruskea, samea. Selkeä vaahto. Tuoksu kevyt maltainen, baarin keittiön rasvan haju sotkee oluen aromeja. Maku täyteläisen hedelmäinen, alkoholi tuntuu vahvasti.

Una de las mejores cervezas que he tomado nunca, tostada, equilibrada, de las mejores sin discusión.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Mjukt sammetslen skum. Smak av russin, farinsocker. Svårt att plocka in dofter och smaker men helt underbar.

Une bière d’exception qu’il faut absolument goûter une fois dans sa vie. elle est encore meilleur si vous la laissez vieillir 3 ou 4 ans avant de la boire

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2014 Know this one thanks to Fabio. pours a nice thin beige head. don’t serve to cold. yeasty on the bottom, so only pour in 10/11. briefly stir/swing the rest in the bottle and toast with your buddy to get the nicest power-yeasty start in your Rochefort adventure. let it breathe for a minute or two befor drinking. see the bubbles form circle like pictures in your Trappiste glas. tastes of rasins, caramel and also flowers. not too dry or bitter with a (initially) long (cool) finish. one of if not the best beer i’ve ever had.

It's really too bad that everyone agrees this is one of the best beers in the world, the price for a bottle just keeps rocketing up. Still, I cant't say it isnt't worth it
