COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

330ml bottle. A bot cloudy brown body with a hint of red and a huge beige crown. Notes of dried plums, raisin and red berries. A hint of dryness and a warm alcohol finish.

Bottle from Voldby Koebmandsgaard. Pours dark brown with a thick off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt and dark fruit. Taste is medium sweet with a hint of alcohol. A little bitterness in the end. Really great indescribable mouthfeel. One of the best beers I’ve tasted. Brilliant beer.

Sweet heaven. Best trappist ale i have had. Not too sweet. Smooth, no burn but warmth. Great complex taste.

Bottiglia 33cl Scura, schiuma di media grandezza. Molto gasata, trappista di grande corpo. Decisamente non è il mio genere ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle from Belgium. Thick and frothy two finger head. Plums, brown sugar, and blackberries in the aroma. Really deep and fruity. Plums, blackberries, cranberries, and a little alcohol on the end. This is a fantastic beer. Truly one of the best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My favorite of the Trappistes. Outstanding all around! This beer should be drunk in a chalice for the right combo of aroma and taste. The taste and finish are to complex to explain, just a delight.

Great beer. Actually a rather drab look in the glass, pours very dark amber with a quickly thinning off white head. Nose is plum, raisins, caramel and rich. Balanced in the mouth with moderate carbonation, the alcohol is well disguised. Fulfilling aftertaste.

Reddish brown pour with an offwhite head. Lots of caramel and dark fruit yeasty malts. Taste is sweet and candied sugar and the Belgian flavor is just awesome. Love it.

These beers are so bad ass it’s not even funny. They are very similar but there are subtle nuances to each. The higher alcohol in the 10 really makes it appealing and takes to another level. Alcohol nose in the glass is reminiscent of tanning. Of course raisins, figs, plums and special yeast. Complex like fine wine. Sweet candy caramel and butterscotch. The way the toast the grain has to be a key factor in what make s this beer so special. Mesmerizing!

Pours Dark brown color, Khaki colored head was thick. Aroma was fruity and sweet.. Alcohol barely there. Some raisins and a hint of chocolate. Incredible depth. Alcohol becomes noticeable at the end. Oaky like whiskey. Great beer.
