COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

Bottle 33cl. A dark nut brown colour with medium high beige head. An aroma of malt, raisin, alcohol and caramel. The taste is medium sweet. A full body, oily and creamy texture, flat carbonation and a long duration. A well balanced beer and a really nice mouth feel.

Bottle poured into Trappist glass. Smooth mouthfeel quickly hit by perfect carbonation. Toffee aroma and breaded taste. Aftertaste of raisins. Very smooth beer with absolutely no hint of this being 11.3 ABV. One of the best beers in the world for a reason!!

Pours dark brown with a beautiful tan head, mostly lasting, great lacing. Aromas of toasted malts, caramel, fruitiness - grapes and apple. Flavours are very smooth and well balanced: malt, Belgian-like yeasty, delicious bitter touch and a soft dryness to it. The alcohol is fairly well hidden, I only really notice it after a while. Extremely creamy, long gradual finish although just a medium body (medium to full at most). Very nice indeed.
