The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

330ml bottle served in a cognac glass. fruity smell, very smooth even though the abv is so high. I Realy like it I’m keeping some in my reserve and see if it gets even better after 2 or 3 years.

Bottle. Dark brown with small, persistent beige head. Aroma of malts, yeast, raisins, caramel, fruity, bananas, some apricot. Taste sweet, lot of malts and caramel. Full body, creamy texture, alcohol warming all over body. Awesome.

Really good somewhat dark beer. Fruity with a hint of vanilla anc cherries. Malts are present and had a decent head. Overall, I enjoyed drinking this but not my style.

Sehr dunkel. Hellbrauner Schaum. Geruch nach Dörobst, dunklen Kirschen und Bourbon. Für 11,3 % noch sehr mild im Geschmack. Ein Bier für besondere Anlässe!

33cl BBE 09/12/2019 Rather fresh. Aroma of caramelized cherries, bread, burnt sugar and some nutmeg. Pours dark brown with thin white head. Heavily hazy. Malty and fantastically caramelized beer. Sweet and strong. Medium bodied and extremely carbonated. Served at 12degC in to trappist goblet. A very strong example of Quad. I would love it to be less fizzy though.

Poured from bottle, 11.2oz, used porter stemmed glass. Large frothy whitish brown head above dark brown color. Smells as described with a hint of vanilla. Palate is smooth and enjoyable. High alcohol content noted in taste but not overwhelming and the overall taste is nice with hint of vanilla and hazelnut at the finish.

Very good, and tasty, dark beer. A bit fruity, but just to in the right amount. Maybe the best in the 8/10/12 Rochefort series.

330 ml bottle. Chocolate smell, with notes of vanilla, cherry, cream, very complex. Dark color with a beautiful white head that doesn’t fade. Extraordinary. Bitter taste, but very balanced. Elegant beer that even if intense, it doesn’t exacerbate nothing. Because is a strong beer, you can feel it with your throat, but not the alcohol, just the great taste. Fantastic beer, i can die in peace now.

Söt arom med inslag av barrträd och kola. Syrlig smak med något sur eftersmak, hint av banan. Mörk rödbrun färg.

Dark brown, tan and creamy head. Mild lacing. Raisin, plumb, dark berry, mild citrus and mild floral notes. Full bodied, sweet malt, mild roast, mild alcohol, fruity, earthy and mild lemon. Medium bitterness, nice balancing fruity malts, mild spice, and nice dry notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
