COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

33cl. bottle. Easily the best beer Iíve ever had. Strong, powerful, malty flavor with undercurrents of fruit. The strength of this beer is masked beautifully by itís full-bodied flavor. Like I said, the best beer Iíve ever had.

Very dark brown with a quickly-dissipating light beige head. Lots of yeast left in the bottle. Aroma is not strong, dark fruits, some yeast and alcohol. Taste is sweet and malty. Nice

Hazy greasy brown lemonade. Greasy, soft prune nose. Initial taste is bright sweaty dark fruit, keen lemon and a faint creamy white choc and capped booziness. Clean, enriching mouthfeel and a cookie sweetness. Fading clean sweetness. Very, very drinkable. Always solid. Always one I forget to rate.

One of the best beers Iíve had in along time. Picked it up at Woodmans grocery and very happy I did. Has a very smooth taste and great aftertaste too.

33 cl bottle, shared. Dark brown color. Light beige (mocha-colored) head. Aromaís: sweet, dark malts, chocolate, raisins. Retronasal itís sweet, raisins, dark sugar, light red fruit. Flavor is sweet, malty, with some chocolate. Strong alcohol feel, warming. Medium bodied, but certainly not thick. Long finish with no new flavors.

0,33 l bottle from EDEKA Mohr, bottled on 16/9/2014. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, very creamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Beautiful! Lovely, sweetish-fruity aroma of plums, raisins, figs, cherries, cane sugar, nuts and a bit of red wine. Very intense, sweetish-fruity taste of prunes, raisins, figs, dates, toffee, nuts and dark chocolate. Long, minimally bitter, pleasant but rather alcoholic and warming finish with a bit of whiskey. Full body, phenomenally creamy, lively carbonation. World-class brew with a wide range of flavours, maybe unexpectedly a bit shy with its aroma. Fantastic creaminess and very round, though. Huge!

Brown color, taste of a lot of dried fruit/plums and a bit of spice, carbonated, a bit of alcohol but so little for how much there is. As noted by most, a world class beer. There are some Trappist beers I prefer but this is of the top. Pretty easy to find as well for me.
