5/15/07 is the bottle date and was consumed on 7/11/08. pours a cloudy dark apple cider color with a two finger bubbly tan head. aroma is Belgium yeast and dark fruit. has a light to medium body with descent lacing and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma with some hops and red apples. a very light, refreshing, and lively dubbel. not too bad! turns a little sweet in the aroma and flavor as it warms. i think it was slowly going down hill, but held up fairly well. as it is completely warm the aroma is a bit stronger.

Full bodied in both nose and palate, of honey, hops, and yeast. Short living head, but rich mahogany body. Very decent beer.

Bottle pours a beautiful brown with a thin very foamy off-white head. Aroma is rich creamy malt. Sweet fruity flavor, a hint of sourness with ntoes of chocolate and caramel, quite subtle but complex. Fizzy light body.

This sure pours VERY foamy. Not a frothy head, but a definate large buble head. Extremeley cloudy in the glass. On the dark brown color in body. Aroma is almost bordering on the side of cocoa powder. Mouthfeel has lots of carbonation to it. Body is on the thin side for a Belgian-style. Flavor description....Hmmmm. Got the Belgian twang to it, but its really light flavored. Bit a alcohol. Again, with the cocoa powder flavor, mixed with some maltiness, and a chaser of hop content. I’ve had better.

Not a bad little beer. Smelled like fig and plum. Poured a reddish brown with a fairly decent head. Not as good as the 10 or 8. But different in its own way. Would drink again.

Poured a light hazy brown with a very light brown head. Aroma is of candy sugar and some spices. Flavor is sweet and spiced but is very boozy.

Poured from an 11.2oz bottle and served in a tulip. This beer poured a murky mahogany hue with a lasting head of tight, fizzy tan foam. A small amount of lacing was left clinging to the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of fresh citrus, candi sugar, honey, raisins, and a touch of sweet alcohol. The flavor consisted of caramel, candi sugar, figs, raisins, oranges, graham cracker, and mild alcohol. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with crisp, tingly carbonation. A highly quaffable brew that was complex and tasty.

33cl bottle from Mr. Dunderbaks (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark brown with a one finger tan head that dissipates quickly but laces the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of yeast, grain, raisins, plums, ripe fruit. Taste is earthy with notes of wood, chocolate, malt, coffee, dark fruit. Light to medium-body with a smooth slightly bitter finish.
