| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 9, 2008 This sure pours VERY foamy. Not a frothy head, but a definate large buble head. Extremeley cloudy in the glass. On the dark brown color in body. Aroma is almost bordering on the side of cocoa powder. Mouthfeel has lots of carbonation to it. Body is on the thin side for a Belgian-style. Flavor description....Hmmmm. Got the Belgian twang to it, but its really light flavored. Bit a alcohol. Again, with the cocoa powder flavor, mixed with some maltiness, and a chaser of hop content. I’ve had better. dwaggs2 (568), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 3, 2008 Not a bad little beer. Smelled like fig and plum. Poured a reddish brown with a fairly decent head. Not as good as the 10 or 8. But different in its own way. Would drink again. Beerman6686 (1316), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Poured from an 11.2oz bottle and served in a tulip. This beer poured a murky mahogany hue with a lasting head of tight, fizzy tan foam. A small amount of lacing was left clinging to the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of fresh citrus, candi sugar, honey, raisins, and a touch of sweet alcohol. The flavor consisted of caramel, candi sugar, figs, raisins, oranges, graham cracker, and mild alcohol. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with crisp, tingly carbonation. A highly quaffable brew that was complex and tasty. kiefdog (1655), Tampa, Florida, USA
