3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 kramer (3909) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 200612 oz bottle. Pours a slightly murky chestnut colored body under a small off-white head. Quite alot of visible carbonation, and a light sediment in the bottle. Fruity and yeasty aroma with a touch of alcohol. Light notes of tobacco and grapes. Flavor is a little thin on the malt with alot of yeast, slightly sweet. Finish is short and lightly fruity. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Texture is soft. Overall, a decent enjoyable beer, but pretty stripped down when compared to it’s bigger brothers.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 bulldogops (369) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 16, 2013
330mL Bottle 7.5%. Have had this once before, but revisited as I lost tasting notes from my beer market trips in Toronto. Dark brown pour with a bubbly tan head, decent retention.heavy on carbonation Aroma is quite fruity. Full bodied. Creamy, buttery mouthfeel. Taste is ripened peaches, currant, raisin, spiciness. Extremely smooth finish and a lingering taste of sweet malt. Superb.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 beelsebob (29) - Cupertino, California, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Smells of caramel and grass, but not strongly at all. Is a beautiful clear golden orange colour, with a white head made up of big bubbles that dissipates quickly with no lacing at all. Medium sweet with a bitter hint. Lively fizzy carbonation with a lovely creamy mouth feel. Overall pretty damn good, just not quite Rochefort 10.
4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 sudomorph (29) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 31, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2013 Colour is a hazy brown. Head pours creamy. Thin but lingers. A subtle smell of fruit hits the noise. Taste is complex. Lightly spicy. Hints of fruit, apples. Very nice. Has a lingering warmth the warmer it gets.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mnmike (700) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 30, 2013
Fizzy pour that quickly dissipates. Smells of fruit and booze. Caramel color. High quality offering from Rochefort. You can’t go wrong with these guys, but I like the higher alcohol ones a bit better.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 RandomBeerDude (11) - SWEDEN - MAY 29, 2013
The only reason to drink the 6 is if you find that the occasion demands for a lighter beer than the 8 or 10.
Still a really good beer in it self but falls short in the comparison.

Bottle, of the rochefort beers, definitely 3rd best. Not as strong, too sweet for a Belgian beer. Needs more balance. Even if it was more bitter, it would add to the overall beer.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 gruberm (84) - - MAY 26, 2013
Pour from a bottle a light brown cloudy color. A nutty aroma with citrus hints. Taste come with both bitter and sweet notes and leaves with a light oily and bitter finish,
