gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 1, 2008 Bottle. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is malt, alcohol, fruit, caramel. Flavour is sweet, alcohol, fruit, yeast, caramel. Medium body , but still a nice beer. yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway May 23, 2008 Bottle. A quite clear, golden beer with an enourmous off-white head. Sweetish, caramel-like aroma with a good fruityness, and the flavor is much the same, sweet, malty and fruity. Medium body, very effervescent. A nice beer that still feels a bit ordinary. Not sure if it deserves the rating I gave it, but at the moment I was drinking it, it was right. Afterwards, it felt a bit high though. This beer was a bit old but drinkable.
Amber color; white head. Aroma, good and strong, malty, old hops, dry. Taste is interesting, yeasts, dry feeling. Medium Body.
Why this brewer don’t make this beer anymore ? thebeertourist (1879), Oslo, Norway Dec 17, 2006 Bottle at Kulminator, Antwerpen. Hazy amber with a huge, lacing head. A lot of carbonation. Spicy malts aroma with hints of pears. Flavours are more complex with spicy gingerbread and toffee. Dry mouthfeel. Light to medium body. A great amber. sunevdj (1472), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Sep 18, 2005 Pours a hazy orange with an off-white head. Rather boring Belgian ale. Has gor the right yeasty flavor, but is too watery. Lacks in body too.
